In a nut shell..I bought the first 200S because I bought 2 smaller levoits during the pandemic. They worked very well in my 2 smaller rooms. The air output on these 200S is crazy. Literally you can feel a vortex of air shifting throughout the room. I have 2 old flea bag cats lol. Both thick coated rascals so you can imagine the dander and hair right? Let me tell you straight out the prefilter catches so much material it's unreal. The air quality feels "cleaner" like it's less heavy. Somewhat like that clean smell the air has after a good cool fall rain. I love the settings and especially the pet setting. When I cook or there is a peculiar scent it automatically kicks up on the fan setting and within minutes the light goea from orange back to green then blue. The technology in this cleaner is unparalleled in my opinion. The app is easy, my air cleaners connected to bluetooth with zero issue. The app lets me know the air quality etc. I like the room settings feature, timers and sleep mode. Very very quiet and almost undetectable at night. Sound investment and will purchase 2 more in the near future for total house coverage.

My daughter suggested I buy an air purifier. I googled for reviews and found a Popular Mechanics article recommending the Levoit Vital 200S-P for people with pets.
I was skeptical, but desperate, so I purchased one.
Within 12 hours of it running in my bedroom and connected office, my allergic reactions had cleared up tremendously. I had the first good night's sleep I'd had in months. The next day, my eyes were back to normal, my face was no longer puffy and red, and my nose--oh, what a revelation! My nose was dry and clear for the first time in so long, I don't even remember when it had been like that. It's worked so well, I joked with my daughter that it will pay for itself in saved Kleenex boxes.
I'm converted. I bought another for the family room, which is near the bathroom with the cat boxes and is always a little smelly. When my budget allows, I'm buying a third for my living room.
Good things about this air purifier:
* The air purifier is super easy to set up and to connect to the phone app and to Alexa. I love being able to change settings by voice.
* It has many modes, including a sleep mode (no lights, super low), a pet mode (on high for 15 minutes, then lower for 45), and the normal low, medium, high, and tornado settings. (It's not called "tornado": that's just what I call it).
* In the lower modes, it is super quiet, and even in the higher modes, the sound isn't too loud. Tornado mode is an exception, but if you need tornado mode, you have other, higher concerns.
* The air purifier cleans up to 1,800 square feet. That's a lot more than other air purifiers I looked at for the same price.
* The unit is lightweight; I can easily lift it. Plus it has thoughtful built-in handles on each side.
* Unlike many other brands, the main filter on this air purifier only need to be replaced once every six months to a year (depending on whether you run it 12 hours a day or 24; I'm running it 24 hours a day, so I expect to replace the filter in six months). And the prefilter never needs replacing; it just needs regular cleaning.
* Maintenance is easy-peasy. The device has three things to maintain: The prefilter, the main filter, and the air quality sensor. Today, I vacuumed the prefilter, after close to a week of it running. The prefilter had trapped so much dust! It only took about five minutes to remove the prefilter, get out my vacuum cleaner, vacuum the filter, and put it back in. It didn't look like it needed washing yet, but washing looks easy.
Bottom line: If you have pets or allergies (or both), please do yourself a big favor and buy this air purifier!
