5.0 out of 5 stars Quite possibly my favorite Amazion purchase ever!

I am so excited by this product and I see that many others were too. It was inexpensive, lightweight, super easy to install, holds firmly and just seems like an all-around genius idea! I loved it so much that I was truly curious why anyone would give it a lower rating.

Having read through far too many reviews, almost every single negative review says that the adhesive didn't hold on their walls or ripped the paint off of their walls. I have to classify this as user error since it states very clearly in the listing that these clips are intended to stick to metal, would, glass ot tile and NOT to be used as an adhesive mount on drywall, painted walls, wallpaper, or cement. I added a screenshot of those instructions from the listing.

The only other complaint I saw was that the clips do not hold up the large one to two inch wooden curtain rods. Again it states plainly in the listing that it will hold a rod one to two cms in diameter. And for that purpose I think it's an extraordinary product.

I used mine to hang a curtain rod on a fiberglass exterior door. I had originally thought I could use a magnetic Cafe rod holder, and that's how I learned the door was not metal! This was the perfect solution!

5.0 out of 5 stars They are cute, but do not hold 30lbs
Reviewed in the United States on November 12, 2024
These hooks are cute, but they do not hold a good weight. I used to put my bedroom curtain rod that weighs less than 3 lbs, of course, and one side continues to fall down. I have to support it with other hooks.

2.0 out of 5 stars Eh, good but not so good.

I bought these instead of drilling the brackets into the wall that came with my curtain rod. I was going to drill the brackets in, even borrowed an electric drill. Only problem I had was that I'm super short (5'0) and nothing to stand on so I couldn't drill them in myself. I've begged my best friend (whose 6'2) to come over and do it for me but it was excuse after excuse. I just moved into this house in June so I needed to get my curtains up asap. I ended up caving and bought these sticky no drill brackets since they were easy to put up and would only take about 5 minutes so my friend would come over and actually do it (I live alone with my 16 year old son whose only 5'5 so he couldn't reach either). My best friend was all I had to help me get these curtains up! I did everything I was supposed to. Cleaned the area, let it dry, put the brackets up and wait 24 hours to put the curtain up. After about a week, one of the brackets fell off and peeled a chunk of paint off with it. Since then, I've hung my curtain 3 times because each time it stays up for awhile and then one side will eventually fall of. I've had to buy a 2nd pack because I ran through the first one having to replace the brackets that fell down. It does come with screws to drill into the wall if needed but what's the point of "no drill" brackets if they send screws to drill in. Obviously the company knew that eventually you'd need to drill them in. Good concept but it needs work!

3.0 out of 5 stars Works well, clean wall first.
Reviewed in the United States on September 10, 2024
Works well for my curtains. I read the reviews and cleaned the wall first and it stuck so fast I couldn't get it off. So glad I measured correctly. I only gv 3 stars because 3 of them would not stick at all. I had to buy another set. It was to late to send back I was on a roll. Everything was looking good. Weird how just as I was almost done last 3 didn't stick. I tried to make it work. Overall, not bad for the price!

4.0 out of 5 stars I like it.

Very easy to use. Adhesive is strong. Comes with screws if needed. My issue is it is very thin when it comes to holding curtain rods. It can only hold rods less than the diameter of a quarter. I’m using it for sheer curtains so it is virtually weightless, but I’ve sat a standard curtain rod on there and it is not strong enough to hold that. I would give it a 4 star as long as you are using it for less than 2lbs.

I made curtains for a friend to cover up the bottom part of her sink in her washroom. I came across these stick on rod holders and they are amazing. They have a top part that clicks in and holds it very securely. They are well made and will last for years.

5.0 out of 5 stars Did the job!!!!

I bought these hooks to hang curtains in my family room. They will do the job! Just be sure to clean and dry the area thoroughly before trying to use the adhesive. I mean that’s pretty much common sense! But they will hold! My drapes are very heavy! Easy and fast to place. I even bought more for my other rooms in the house. The white color was perfect and they fit well on the walls!

3.0 out of 5 stars Depends on use

I know you can’t put any type of stick-ems to painted surfaces so I sanded off the paint down to the plaster wall. Hung recommended weight requirement. It didn’t work. Maybe on metal surfaces they may do better. Even though mine are now in the garbage I gave them 3 stars just in case it was solely due to my surface that they didn’t work but considering my walls are plaster (not drywall) I thought the surface would be ok. Lessons learned the hard way.
