Each one is its own color. There's a remote and a button on the plug. The leader cord is a decent length. The lighting patterns are the usual fade/flash/steady. They're powered by a USB.
The lights are about an inch apart. While there aren't a lot of them, the overall effect is nice and they're bright.
I love that they're not battery powered and they can be hung individually, there's a loop at the top that's formed of the steel star so it's not going to detach. Since they're LED they should last a long time and not use a lot of electricity.
Between Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day I'll have them up all summer. Between the brightness, durability, USB power and versatility I'd love to have this type of light for Halloween and Christmas as well. Quality and effect wise they're head and shoulders above most decorative lights you'll see.
