Terrific Customer Service

At this point, I cannot fully review the fountain itself in action because I have not quite reached this point. However, I can say that (before getting it operational) it is beautiful and everything we might have expected.

What I can do now is tell you about the amazing customer service I experienced when I had a problem with the pump. I recently assembled the fountain (no problems), and it looks great. But when I plugged in the pump, nothing happened. After working through the troubleshooting options, it was pretty clear to me that the pump was defective--not making any noise or vibration when connected to verified power. So I wrote to customer service and explained the issue. I asked that they please send a replacement pump.

Here is the big thing: I sent that email to them late on a Saturday afternoon. Within about 2 hours (late on a Saturday), I got a response from Jamie Alforque in Customer Service saying that, of course, they would send me a replacement pump. No questions asked. Just the reply that they would certainly send a replacement immediately. They did send it right away by FedEx , and I have since received it. Although I have not yet installed the pump into the fountain because it was a gift and is located at another house and I have not yet had that opportunity, I did plug it in under water to make sure it is functional. And it certainly is working.

I may update the review of the fountain itself later after we have it working. What I can say now is that Alpine's customer service, and that of Jamie Alforque in particular, is exceptional. And the fountain looks beautiful. I would definitely recommend that you can feel secure in ordering one of their fountains, assuming that it fits your decor and your application because if there is a problem, they will fix it. Based on my experience, they will do so rapidly, competently, and courteously. I wish all customer support were like this.

I absolutely love this! Super easy to assemble and as soon as I added the water I plugged it in and instantly the water began to flow down the entire mirror. I did have to turn the water intake thing on the pump down because water was spraying out the top side but now it’s perfect. I’m thinking about getting another one to put on the other side ????. The pump is really quiet can’t even hear it running.

A childhood dream come true

I always wanted something "just like" this, but it turns out that this is exactly what I wanted. As for "negatives," the pipe connecting the pump to the base sometimes rattles and needs you to put on a rubber glove and put your hand in there to get the pump back on the foam pad to cease the unwanted sound. Other than that, you just need to use common sense to check the water level when hot/humid temperatures make the distilled water evaporate and top it off regularly to compensate. Other than that, this product is amazing, and those "negatives" are merely non-issues if you remain diligent with your maintenance.
Sure to elevate a living quarters. I highly recommend this product, and can confirm that people will love the presence of the mirror-waterfall at gatherings. The sound and overall ambiance are really something else.

Gorgeous and Nice Sound

The sound and aesthetics are nice. You can close your eyes and imagine a babbling stream nearby. The spotlight is a bit glaring and doesn't add much for us, but we have recessed dimmable 5k kelvin lighting, so we don't use it. One tip, only fill once you measure in where you want it and don't go much over 5 gallons at first. 6.5 just poured out the back as I filled it very precisely. 5 works just fine. It also splatters when you turn it off, just FYI. Never during normal operation though, which is exactly what we desired. The minimal splatter at shutoff is not excessive. Find a smart outlet device and on and off works great to remote it. Easy to put together with one person. We used the same stones as our patio versus the included ones since we can see the patio in the windows to either side. Heck, maybe glow stones for low light or darkness to really make it beautiful in the dark. For the price, we are very happy with this water feature. I only dropped one star because of the critical overfill issue. If you overfill it (do not use 6.5 gallons), it needs to be drained, moved to towels, floor cleaned and dried, moved to more towels then in place and refilled again. Avoid the panic fix and it is perfect.

I read multiple reviews & decided to purchase this Fountain based on 1 guys review/photo/video. It is drop dead gorgeous. The assembly was extremely EASY. The water began flowing instantly. Now, 1 lady was correct. It doesn’t need 6.5 gallons of water. We used 4.5 gallons & stored the additional gallons. The water is flowing down the mirror beautifully without mirror prep. My fiancé asked for a water fountain. He thought he was getting a small table top fountain. He was beyond ecstatic & pleased to see this 6ft. mirror fountain. 2 for 1. I’d highly recommend that you try it for yourself & if you don’t like it. Return it. I think this is most definitely a 5 star luxury modern fountain. It look perfect in our new home.
