5.0 out of 5 stars battery lasted all day at Lollapalooza
Reviewed in the United States on August 2, 2024
I bought two of these hand fans for Lollapalooza, and they work really well. I charged overnight, and the battery lasted the entire day without the dropping at all. I used it often because it was 92F and no shade!

There are three fan speeds, and the mist is a nice feature because it cools the air blowing on you. I refilled the reservoir more frequently for the mist but that is to be expected. It wasn't too heavy and there is a very tiny space for a lanyard or strap at the bottom although they are not supplied. If you have one, it is a bit tricky to connect but once you do you can hang this around your neck for ease of use particularly in a crowded space. The base is very sturdy as well in case you want to set it on a flat surface to use as a fan. It was a great purchase and I'll save it to use for vacation too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great little powerful fan with cool mist

The media could not be loaded.
 Pros:

1. High quality material, unlike typical cheap Chinese junk.

2. The fan is very powerful. Even on weakest level, you can feel it. At the 3rd level (most powerful), it's super strong.

3. The mist is also very powerful and as you can see from my video, in just a few seconds, a droplet of water forms. I camp in an arid high desert area every year and need to bring humidifiers to help lessen the dry air effects at night when I sleep in my tent. Most humidifiers spray a very fine mist, almost useless in the grand scheme when fighting against arid desert air. However, this one, while also spraying a fine mist which easily disperses into the atmosphere, sprays it at a much more powerful level. As such, coupled with the fan, it actually has a cooling effect, like a swamp cooler. I took a picture of my thermometer showing 74.5 degrees F, and after running this fan at lowest setting with the mist on it, the temps dropped to 72.3 degrees F, with humidity rising slightly as expected, in 5 minutes. While this isn't an Earth-shattering effect, it shows the science of water evaporating absorbing heat from the surrounding. And I can assure you the cooling effect feels much more than a mere 2 degrees F. My thermometer has a delayed reaction, and running the fan and mist on your face, you'll immediately feel the difference, as if there's a 5-10 degree temperature difference, depending on relative humidity.

Swamp coolers in arid (hot, dry, low humidity) air works because of the science of how water is evaporated. When a gas expands in volume, or when a liquid or solid turns into gas (ie water vapor, increasing the humidity), the water molecules absorb heat from each other and the surrounding. Heat is an ingredient, a reactant, so to speak. It's a scientific certainty, a factual requirement. Temperature therefore goes down as a result. So when the mist is sprayed on you with wind (ie energy), this evaporates the water molecules, thus cooling down the remaining water and wind that is directed towards you.

4. The fan can stand on it's own with good stability and blow on you.

5. Built in rechargable batteries mean no need to carry extra batteries.

Cons:

1. Built in batteries mean you can't swap out batteries at will, especially once the batteries go bad. However, you'll run out of water many times over before the batteries run out as the battery appears to be long lasting.

2. The water reservoir is very small, only 20 ml, which will be used up fast. The bottle supplied has a 30 ml mark and a line for 20 and 10. You only need the 20. My initial tests show the water is used up in approximately 10 minutes.

3. You need to carry the little supplied water bottle with you to refill the reservoir due to how close the opening is to the fan, and the small size opening. You risk getting the fan wet if you simply poured water into the opening. I tested successfully using a straw by inserting it into the small opening, and positioning the other end under running water, with the other end higher in elevation than the opening of the water reservoir. However, it'll fill FAST so I had to move the straw out from the water quickly.

4. My 3 year old, turning 4 years old in 4 months, can stick her pinky into the back guard rails, touching the fan blades. This is not safe for kids given the powerful fans on level 3 power.

Other Thoughts:

1. I can see myself using this as a humidifier, but would need to constantly refill water.

2. I'd suggest the manufacturer decrease the size of the openings between fan blades guards to prevent children from sticking their fingers in, increase the reservoir of water, and change the opening and/or location so it doesn't require carrying a small bottle for water refills.

4.0 out of 5 stars Super strong hand held fan and mister.
Reviewed in the United States on August 16, 2024
This is probably the strongest hand held fan and mist-er I’ve ever seen. The fan is so nice and the mister doesn’t leave you wet. Compared to the other fan I bought, this mister is stronger, but the high power of the fan keeps you dry.

I love that the battery is a usbc rechargeable one vs the little normal ones that uses AA batteries and stuff. The fan is small and so easy to travel with. The buttons on the fan is simple. One to turn the mister on, the other to control the fan. This fan is well worth the price… especially if you work somewhere like I do, where the A/C is always broken / not cooling enough during the 100 degree heat in the summer.

Love how sturdy this thing is standing on its own.

Edit: I went to charge my little fan and found that the usbc plug is off centered so I am unable to plug it in to charge. Now I have to find a way to charge it with the usb plug in.

5.0 out of 5 stars Personal fan perfected!
Reviewed in the United States on August 25, 2024
This is a great personal fan, it’s a nice size to create a real breeze without being heavy, awkward, or cumbersome. I can tuck it in the side pocket on my backpack and it fits perfectly. It’s sturdy enough to place it on a table and adjust the angle of the fan to keep you cool. The mist is light and very refreshing! I was impressed that it came with a small bottle to make refilling the mist easier. And the fact it’s rechargeable makes it a great travel companion. Great value, highly recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent breeze and mist. Low noise.

Great little fan. People were envious around us in the audience. The fan is nice and quiet. The wider grip is fine. The mist is gentle and lasts a long time. The adjustable head makes it great as a desk fan too. It held its battery charge well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing misting fan!
Reviewed in the United States on September 8, 2024
I had purchased a more expensive misting fan here on Amazon that did not mist very well which was the main reason I purchased it. I returned it and found this one instead half the price and so much better!
I like the fact that it has a wider handle than the other one did also, the fan has three settings and all work wonderful to pay on what you need. Then you add the mist to it and it's fantastic!
I like to take a walk in the evenings but if it's too warm I take my fan with me and it helps so much!
The cooling moisture really does the job.
This is well made, easy to fill and works great.
I just can't say enough good things about this fan. So glad I found it!
I highly recommend this fan!!

3.0 out of 5 stars Fan is fine but misting function is very weak
Reviewed in the United States on August 6, 2024
I am used to the spray bottles with fans attached, where you can squeeze the trigger and get a cooling spray of water. Conversely, this one gives a constant stream of light mist while it’s turned on. You need to hold the fan an inch from your face to feel the mist at all. I got this for a festival in 80+ degree weather and it was maybe barely helpful. I much prefer the spray bottles.
