I love these lights! The fact that you get two for such a good price and they work so well! At first I was confused because there seemed to be mixed reviews on if they were able to be put on a timer. The answer is yes, if you want them to be steady on just click them once to turn them on at the exact time you’d like them to turn on everyday. They stay on for about 8 hours, turn off automatically and then come on the next day by themselves. It’s perfect for my dog when I leave her and don’t come back for a couple of hours and it gets dark. They’re pretty bright at first and dim down as the batteries start to die so you’ll know when you need to replace the batteries beforehand. They’re also nice because it gives off the appearance someone may be home since they do have a timer. It’s an overall win tbh

These do work and look great! I needed battery lights for my Christmas tree at vendor markets. They do turn on sporadically by themselves when I store them, so I have to make sure to remove the batteries. It’s really the other reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5. I would still recommend them!

Purchased these for use on a boat, with no electricity so needed battery operated lights. These lights have several options for light functions, maybe too many, but if you like flashing lights than lots of options. They work great and last a long time. We still haven't had to replace the batteries.

1. The 3 AA batteries don't last very long. After about a week, the lights grew noticeably dimmer! This means it will take a lot of batteries to run these lights year-round, which was my intention. Very disappointed about that.
2. There are about 6 functions on the control, but I ended up only wanting to use the "stay on all the time" function, because the various flashing modes were just not pleasing. I wanted a TWINKLE function, like what fireflies look like! NOT an unsettling rhythmic pulsating flash. None of the functions actually twinkle slowly. It ends up looking like it's too busy and just is not aesthetically pleasing, so you just have to leave them on. None of the other functions is acceptable.
3. The product information does not say so, but the lights go off automatically after about 6 hours. Then they apparently come back on after about 6 (?) more hours (I'm still trying to assess what the pattern is, but it's not apparent from the instructions that the lights do this.
I would NOT purchase this product again, for the above reasons.
