Pure Heaven For The Right Price

I got tired of paying an arm and leg for my pods and I saw Amazon had these affordable nespresso pods. I have no regrets at all. They are a perfectly compatible fit with the original nespresso machine. This is only one flavor for regular espresso lovers who don’t like to try to switch it up everyday. They are made with plastic so are quite durable and the seal is a foil that will not cause issues with your machine. They do have a different appearance than the regular metal pods but that doesn’t affect the good taste of this coffee. It’s like a double discount: for great coffee and a good price (50 shots). I don’t think I will be buying nespresso brand anymore.

I enjoyed the rich flavor and convenience of the pods. It saves room in the cart and car when shopping brick and motar. The empty pods are also suitable as plant ( seed) starters or for crafting. I also do not suffer from indigestion as with some other brands. I would reccomend this product.

Excellent Nespresso-type pods, great coffee, but my box was smashed and pods were everywhere.

This is very, very good espresso/Nespresso, whatever. I have a Bestpresso machine that I use with these, despite my best intentions to use coffee I'd grind at home. I even went so far as to order six little Nespresso cups to use with this system.

Naturally, when I first got the machine, I figured I'd better order one box of the coffee pods until my DIY pods arrived. But they were a little late, and the coffee made with the pods was SO good and so easy, I got hooked. But these pods aren't very expensive, and they do make excellent espresso, no cleanup of coffee grounds anywhere. I got spoiled. It was easy.

So, these coffee pods are now a staple in my Amazon Subscribe and Save list. They really do make good coffee, and the cost of buying these pods to use at home compared to the price of going to the coffee store - no comparison! These still make great coffee. The Solimo here is my favorite brand and flavor.

Unfortunately, when my Subscribe and Save boxes got here yesterday, someone had packed my two boxes of these Solimo pods on the very bottom of a box and then added a few heavy items. You can guess what happened next. One box of pods was a little beaten up, but it was fine otherwise. The other box was smashed open, and there were little red pods all over the box.

So this is why I gave my favorite espresso four stars instead of the five I'd normally give it. Really, it wasn't a big deal; I put all the coffee pods in a plastic bag and took them inside and that was that. Still, someone needs a reminder to put the less sturdy items on top of the box, not underneath whatever was in that box with the pods. Nothing split open except the box, and no harm was done.

These are still my very favorite espresso/nespresso pods, especially in this variety, Solimo. I like the Risotto, I believe it is, too, but this is just a little richer. And, well, it doesn't make a mess, which is helpful to someone whose dog has spilled three of her last four espressos somehow and is thinking of going back to bed for two or three days. But coffee, particularly espresso, will normally get me out!

The coffee quality is directly connected to which type you order…lungo, espresso or ristretto. I was prepared to order espresso then, on a whim I googled lungo and ristretto and chose the latter. I’m very pleased with my pick.
Be forewarned…the capsules are plastic rather than an alloy. The first few capsules needed a nudge to enable them to fall free of the chamber. I’m not sure what’s happened since but they now fall free. Very happy to have found these.

Very pleased with the taste. The capsules are not aluminum, just the ends, but works very well on the Nespresso machine. Very pleasant taste and good quality. Can't go wrong.

It is the for Keurig so I doubt it will be great. But this is very good for about the lowest price around.

A good bargain deal for the coffee you get here. All 3 roasts have a rich, smooth taste which does not leave that bitter aftertaste. I will definitely purchase this again.

What's up with the packaging?

This coffee was delicious and would've easily gotten 5 stars (based off that alone) BUT the way the K cups were just thrown in the box was a real turn off for me. There was also coffee grounds everywhere! I had to count and search through every cup to find if there were any leaking. Although there were 100 k cups, there was one that was opened partially, that caused the problem. Had there been more, I would've requested a refund. I'm seriously debating ordering again because of this. The price was good and this coffee reminded me of "Diner" quality coffee in that you just want to keep drinking it because it's so smooth. I'm not sure that's reason enough to order it again though.
