This is a great product. This picture is a cell phone holder that I cut on my Omtech Polar and it cut beautifully! Not transparent at all. I was very please at how well it turned out. Made several and they all look just as beautiful. I already ordered more.

They were very vibrant colors and came well packaged and protected (the sticker paper is great!).
All of the edges were smooth and without burrs. Surface was free from all defects.
I tested this on a 20W Diode laser, and was able to get it to cut through with some effort. Note that your mileage may vary and these are probably best cut with something OTHER than a diode laser. I ended up having to use darn near 100% power and quite a few passes (for the full cut). Etching was significantly easier (and probably the preferred route here).
There was no considerable smell during the cuts / etching. I do use an air assist and extract (non-enclosed bottom enclosure) to the outdoors.
I'm hoping some of the darker colors are easier to make it through (browns and blacks). This is 100% anticipated because of my laser. These sheets are awesome!
Great value for the quantity of sheets you get as well. Very happy
