The bundle contains ten sheets as promised, of varying colors. The sheets are covered with a paper protective layer on both sides, which is good especially if you're lasering, like I do. The paper helps absorb any flare from the laser as it strikes the surface.
Peeling back the protective paper reveals a flat surface of uniform thickness and with no bow. The sheets are opaque mostly. I've attached a photo of one backlit sheet with the paper pulled back. I placed a finger against the back. You can see in the photo that my finger is clearly discernible. But pull the finger a half inch away and it's hard to tell what it is. That's what I usually find with sheets labeled as opaque.
Labels on each sheet declare them to be cast acrylic.
I use sheets like these to make various items like trophies, edge lit pieces and more on my Glowforge laser. I expect from all I see that these sheets will work well for similar uses.
