I bought the 5". "Why on earth would anyone want a 5" steel ball bearing?", you ask? Well, I'm not sure how I've lived so long without one. The shear joy I get when I place it someone elses hand and they have to scramble to get another hand under is beyond entertaining. This thing is solid and HEAVY. The cardboard box was beat to hell upon arrival, but the ball itself, nuzzled in it's bubble wrap armor, was perfectly prestine. Not sure what I'm going to do with it now, maybe order 5 more and make the worlds most badass Newton's cradle, we'll see.

I bought these for an experiment project and these are the toughest I’ve ever tried to drill. Hardened all the way through. 6 carbide 10mm bits to drill one 25mm deep hole and 5 hours to drill. But the results are perfect. I could not tap them as they are harder than the tap and would not even bite into them. Amazing

I bought these to demonstrate a science experiment for my kids. They are the perfect diameter and mass creating shock waves in aluminum foil and paper. They leave burn marks on paper when slammed together. Very cool!

You get two,,two inch stainless steel balls. They are packaged well and made well. They are heavier than you expect them to be. If you are getting them to twirl in your hand, it’ll take some getting used to the weight but you can do it fine.
