5.0 out of 5 stars Small and powerful.

These motors have a lot of torque for their size. They are pretty durable to. Great product for a great price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Surprisingly good small motor

I was looking for a way to replace the bulk of a SG90 servo and I think I found it. These appear to be the same motors that are in SG90s, and they're geared down very well. I can't turn the grey gear by hand, which is a very good thing. My rough measurement from a lithium ion battery suggests 156 RPM on the grey output gear (~3 volts).

The output gear on the head is 11-tooth, approximately 6mm diameter. I had no trouble making a 3D-printed attachment for it (compared to most servos gearheads that have a significantly smaller pitch and higher tooth count). Great for small things where a servo isn't necessarily required.

4.0 out of 5 stars The (11-toothed) output gear may be a Modulus 0.5mm

The math roughly fits and it seems to mesh another Modulus 0.5mm gear. Feels fairly torque-y at 5 volts, but watch for overheating.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great choice for a small gearmotor

Very pleased with these motors. I measured the voltage, current and rpm of each of the 5 motors and they match the published specs very well. In addition to the geared down output shaft, there is a direct motor shaft in the rear that could support an encoder for motor speed feedback if that was of interest. The price is very good too. Shipping was prompt. Keep in mind these are very small motors and are suitable for light duty use.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great little DC motors.
Reviewed in the United States on October 21, 2021
The motors are as described are tiny and very nice. They startup at about 1.6V and are OK with 7V but top out in speed at 6V. The torque after the planetary gears is pretty good above 3.5V.

5.0 out of 5 stars Built really good for small projects, like a garage doo

I found nothing wrong with these motors. I have used them to lift light items like a garage doors or open double doors for a barn in model dioramas. These are just a few things I use them for. Just use your imagination. Recommend for small projects.

These were cheap so my nar was low. They do work how ever the plastic seemed a bit brittle. Will work fine for very lite uses

5.0 out of 5 stars Good motor for tiny projects

Overall fine, if a bit fiddly to mount to your project. Good torque. The back side of the shaft can be used for optical encoder, but only a very small one
