I had a small flood in my basement and was very concerned about harmful molds. I purchased this kit and it was very simple to use a dn make with an informal booklet. I was uncomfortable attempting to identiy the molds myself so I ended up purchasing an additional informational analysis kit from the company after they offered one free one! They were very friendly, responsive, and informative. Would purchase again.

I was pleasantly surprised with the product and the customer service. The 10 dishes were plenty to sample throughout the house. The instructions were easy to follow. I emailed a question to customer service and received a personalized reply within 24 hours. I would definitely recommend this product.

It worked as it claims and we had a lot of different kinds of mold. Most houses do so now we are trying to figure out where it is. The air conditioner was pretty bad.

Listen these mold detector kits will grow anything!!
In a new house it will grow something if left out on a counter for 3-4 days.
If you touch the inside of the specimen tray or even breathe down on it, it stands a good chance it will grow something!! They want $40 to tell you what is growing ! Your best investment is to get an air test done by a professional mold expert.
I had a small HVAC Freon leak and I thought I was smelling something. Mold was the only thing I thought I could smell that made sense to me. So ,
I had one thing grow after 3 days. And I then got an expert to come to my home. He had a bunch of equipment with him. He checked my whole house out. No mold anywhere.
He told me these kits should be banned because they will grow something anywhere! He said outside the mold in the air will grow all kinds of weird stuff. So save yourself this trouble and not get scared because it grows. Get a real mold inspection. When it grows you will panic, so don’t get this crap.
** if your clothes don’t smell like mold- then you don’t have it. If you see any mold - then get an expert and save your money or him getting the mold out. Don’t buy this !! It’s a joke, because it will grow something- bronchitis or the Covid or the infection your pets had last week!!!

I put one on each floor of our house, basement, main, and bedrooms. They showed positive, but for very low levels of mold. I repeated the test again a week later. Same results. Had they shown no mold at all, I would have been skeptical of the results. As it is, the results were comforting.
