I wanted to wait a while before reviewing this because I was concerned about longevity from such a relatively inexpensive linear motor. But "so far, so good" ... and I'll update this review if/when it fails at a later date.

I'm using it to open a fairly heavy wooden "man gate" in my backyard fence, and it has plenty of power to do so. I teamed it up with a remote fwd/reverse controller ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CSN27T1D ), which worked out perfectly.

I'm a little suspicious of its IP54 claim, but we've had tons of rain here and it's holding up well. I may add a simple rain cover for it soon, for additional protection from above.

This product is 100% not capable of lifting 200lb. I could barely get it to lift 2 50lb counter weights. Would not recommend this product.
