I think for the price this is still a great value.. The tape is thick enough that it doesn't split easily but is still easy to cut. It seems to stick and hold up well. I've used it for sealing boxes for storage and for shipping. The only complaint I have is the dispenser is so challenging to cut with. The bladder retracts for safety but it is hard to get just right and I ended up wasting a lot of tape until I got used to the right angle and squeezing the sides just right.

I rarely leave reviews, but must on this one. This Amazon Basics tape and dispenser are extremely well-made. The tape is strong and thick so it does not shred. The tape dispenses smoothly and easily. Dispensers from Scotch have become flimsy, which I have found frustrating. This one is the opposite - it is sturdy and the tape tears off easily. In our experience, Amazon Basics brand has well-designed products and a high level of quality control.

This tape helps me run my side business selling on eBay. Good, thick crystal clear packaging tape. Adhesion is great. Haven’t had any peel off my clothing bags or dvd bubble mailers, boxes, etc. Easy to cut with the blade installed on the handle or with scissors. The rolls are fairly long. You get 6 at a good price. All in all a good buy.

Thick tape, crystal clear, super quality tape, but these despencers are horrible! Cutting edge does not come up simply, or far enough to cut tape, or the dispenser pops off the tape roll. wasted a lot of tape until we just gave up using the despencers . Title says it all. First time I have been disappointed with an Amazon Basics product

You know this tape is good when someone is actually writing a review about packing tape. First of all, it's thick. Second, it sticks so well that I have no worries about a box falling apart using this. But here's the best thing - it's QUIET. You ever use a packing tape and you can hear it screaming across the house? Not this one. Quiet as a mouse and glides like a pig on extra virgin olive oil. Every single tape comes with it's own dispenser. There's not much else to say. It's the best tape I've ever used.
