Just prior to a move, I made a rookie mistake of getting a bulk pack of less expensive, off-brand tape. I literally screamed after repeatedly having the tape shred, tear as it was being applied and spending way too much time trying to find the end of the flimsy tape, I purchased a pack of Scotch packing tape. The difference side by side is striking. It just works better and didn't add additional frustration to my packing tasks, which is already stressful. I didn't have any boxes fall apart with the other tape, but the effort needed to get it all taped and the amount of tape wasted as I tried to unwind it to get a straight edge in order to use the tape was too much and not worth it.

Good adhesion, easy to use, no issues, good price. Strong and durable. Used for packing boxes and it held up well. This now my third time reordering these, will keep ordering.

After trying many different tapes for shipping over 20+ years, this is my go-to. Much better than Grizzly or Duck Tape or other brands. Might be a 10% higher price, but it ends up being worth it. Almost every other tape ends up being a hassle that wastes time. For example splitting, sticking to itself, wrinkling when applying, or a being tough to get started with your fingernail (too thin.)

This tape is the easiest I've found to get started, is thicker, more durable, and more rigid, all making it easier to handle. You'll still want a dispenser. I've re-used old cheap plastic tape dispensers with these and it that worked fine, but it's also worth getting a heavier one if you use the tape a lot.

Love the tape for it’s easy to find the end if needed on the tape dispenser. More expensive than other brands but you don’t have to spend a lifetime finding the end or wasting tape should it dislodge from the tape dispenser.

I would advise folding under a bit of tape after each use, as otherwise it is hard to find where the tape starts.
