More quantity - 4 packs woven wire mesh. When you have an extremely difficult project(you are not sure size), and bend one of these sheets trying to cut the wire with scissors. You will be really thanked for 4 packs (many)to fit the size
304 stainless steel material - very stiff, very sturdy and not rusty. You will not be forming these sheets into organic shapes absolutely! This material cuts easily with tin snips. Never have trouble with the bent package
Perfect size - Valchoose security mesh 11.8"X8.2"(300X 210mm), aperture: 1mm, wire diameter: 0.4mm, open area 52%. quite well for making the air vent holes into cooling fans meet ul or for keeping rodent out and so on

I have a 55 gallon water drum that had a failed screen on the top. I cut this to the same size as the damaged screen. It worked great and with some manipulation it conformed well to keep the bugs and debris out of the barrel. Must use tin snips or really great scissors if you want to cut. It is thick enough, rigid but conforming.

I was desperately looking for something to cover my air vents to keep some uninvited guests (mice) out, and I found this!! It's very sturdy yet flexible, but alittle difficult to cut! The sheers/snips actually didn't work that well for me, and had to use both the sheers & titanium scissors. Be sure to wear cloth work gloves because the edges of the sheet are sharp & jagged once you start cutting. Two rolls came in the pack, and I was able to line the insides of 4 large air vents with one roll.

I am so pleased with this item. It was very easy to cut and I’m not sure why others say you need gloves, but I’m up there in age and had no problem working with it. I put it on all my intake vents with some white duct tape (blends in with vent) and have not seen an insect since. I cannot praise this item enough. So reasonably priced, came the next day and looks great. Doesn’t rust either so it’ll last a long time.

Used at parents house to cover kitchen vent to prevent animals from getting in. Has held up ok so far.

This mesh was a perfect answer to my needs on a G scale model railroad locomotive engine cover. The mesh size was a good scale approximation to a real life application. The 3 large sheets were more than I'll ever find a need for (for now) and arrived quickly, with only a few corners slightly damaged from the clear plastic mailing sleeve they were sent in. I would have thought they would be packaged better in a cardboard envelop to prevent shipping damage, but there was plenty of screen to trim out the small 1 1/2" x 1 3/4" pieces that I needed for my 2 tractor locos. I chose stainless steel mesh as it is stiffer and less prone to damage when picking these small locos up from the track or storage shelf. Aluminum wire mesh just isn't up to the task of avoiding a mushed in screen if a finger happens to touch it. Very pleased with this find.
