    I always tend to read the 1 and 2 star reviews and then decide if I want to order the product. I decided to take a chance on this microscope and I’m glad I did! It’s super simple to set up and as you can see from my images (one is gains of salt and the other is part of a flower), the microscope works great. I think the only negative is that it is light weight and will shake a bit, but once you finish getting your sample set on it the shaking stops. We ordered this for our grandson and liked it so much that we ordered a second one for our granddaughter!

    Bought one for home hobby use with low expectations. I was blown away, and bought two more for our lab at work. Sharp imaging and great magnification. Only down sides are the stand is cheap plastic so it shakes a little if you're leaning on the table, and the up/down wheel slips a bit but for $60, you can't go wrong. Hopefully it's still on sale for you!

    The picture quality is great, plug and play with the laptop is great. The only issue is that there is no way to zoom out other than "screwing" it up the mast. Once the camera reaches the top of the mast, that's the limit (untless you remove the camera and hold manually at a farther distance). If your object is bigger than a quarter, you will not be able to view the entire object.

    This is awsome. It's much better than I anticipated. It zooms very well. I'm not sure how it will hold up in time but the build seems pretty good. Our kids absolutely love it, as do I.

    The manual is pretty much useless.
    The lens is mounted on an angle, so you need to keep moving your slide around to keep your object in view. It is shaky, so the object moves around as well. And you need to hold onto the microscope to stabilize it while making adjustments.
    You can get a great view of the base, but I put a white index card on top of the base, and the view improved dramatically.
    The led lights get in the way.

    But once I've finally got the object in view and focused, it give a pretty good image. But it takes a lot of fiddling around to get it. I'd rather use my time viewing rather than messing around with the microscope.

    Wouldn’t recommend. Paid extra for the 1080p version and it’s average at best. Too much zoom at max distance, disconnects from computer constantly, recording always destroys the video, and flimsy build/stand. Best for kids who want to look at stuff close up outside or something. Not great.

    I love this thing! The image clarity is terrific, the light is powerful, and the battery is strong. Really easy to use...just put the item on the base, adjust the focus a bit, and the digital screen shows the enlargement.
    I use it all the time, and it's definitely a strong "bang-for-the'buck" microscope! Highly recommend!
