    Purchased to prevent snap back on driver drill when using to start small engines (mower, generator, pressure washer, edger, etc) Instead of using the pull rope and getting a sore arm. Also allows use on breaker bar as ratches. Works so well, I may order this in 1/2" as well.

    Works great for situations where convenience is needed with a breaker bar. However, it is tall which makes the socket extend further away from the bar itself. The also limits your ability to fit the bar and ratchet into small spaces.

    It does look good. It works well, and it’s made pretty well.

    I cant pull start my mower or pressure washer any longer due to age and infirmity. I used this ratchet and a 1/2 drive adapter to make an electric start using my big drill and it works great! I will caution that you should not use an impact since it could break the crankshaft.
    Simply using the adapter works, but when the engine starts it will spin the drill the other direction violently if you cant/ don't remove it quickly. the ratchet relieves the reverse torque making the process smoother and easier.. This is a perfect oll for my purpose and works fantastically. Definitely recommend!

    I really wanted this to work well, but after the second bolt I loosened, the ratcheting feature constantly switched back and forth. I now have to hold the blue collar as I ratchet it back and forth so it doesn't switch on its own.
