    It's pretty much what everyone says - a great little unit for looking at, and taking photo's of DSO's. Moon and sun, yes, planets, no way. But as you can see, clusters, nebulas and galaxies are right up this li'l guys' alley. I use it for EAA as well, say it's 10 degrees and I just want a quick peek at the sky from the couch....I got it. Or I want to watch the moon - it's perfect for that. Or if you have someone who is not able to get out to the actual telescope - this is a wonderful tool to show them what you are looking at. Very easy to use, but also has a ton of room for growth with picture taking abilities.

    Delivery person was so nice and delivered item with care and even made sure it was put safe inside my porch from rain. He knows I'm a wheelchair user and always delivers with intelligent kindness. Please give him a special thank you for always delivering with thoughtfulness. Thank you, it's really appreciated when handling things from a wheelchair. Part 2 of review will come later once I use telescope.

    This is a great telescope. Easy to use. Only downfall is that it will only focus on objects in the telescope's database.

    Worked perfectly out of the box. No extras are needed. I have captured great images of a dozen deep sky objects but I always sort and stack the individual images to get rid of aircraft, satellites, etc. Leveling has never been and issue. It's one of the best purchases I have ever made!

    It took a few tries to figure out how to set up and point the telescope…Be patient… this is a very sophisticated device that produces fantastic images.

    I bought it to help my two 10 year old grand daughters and two 7 year old grand sons see close up images of the moon.

    The ability to set up the scope and have children watch the images on my I-pad without touching the telescope is an important feature of this device.

    Once we studied many of the craters of the moon, I asked the telescope to find Saturn.
    Within two minutes the telescope automatically found Saturn. Centering it on my IPad and fine tuning the focus was a piece of cake. I have never seen Saturn and its rings on any privately held telescope, yet here we were in my backyard in Houston, doing it on our first try.

    This is not a toy. It is a precision optical device with excellent easy to use software.

    At 72 years old, I was able to figure it out without calling or contracting Customer Service.

    This is a perfect Christmas Gift for the whole family…

    This is a scam. It is not ZWO that is selling it for this low price. You cannot buy it for this low price anywhere. Most people are purchasing broken items or items that don’t run.

    What I like most was the simplicity the app takes care of 90% of what you need to do you can take your pictures from the sea star and put them into a computer but I have found that the app itself does a great job of processing unless you are a astronomy expert and you really really want to get into making things look super but that is not where I'm at at this time of my life

    I was so happy to get my Seestar and start observing the heavens in my own backyard.
    This thing works great and with soooo many different possibilities. Solar imaging, Lunar imaging, Deep space imaging, and even land-based imaging. I could not wait to unlock the mysteries of the universe with Seestar that I had to get right into it.
    I jumped right in and got it up and going in no time. Seestar stepped me along the setup, and I was off imaging the moon, sun, stars, galaxies and the heavens above! Seestar makes it so easy! Like 1-2-3.
    The Seestar comes in a nice travel box and even comes with the tripod and attachable solar filter all fit nice and snug inside. Setup is simple. 1-2-3 simple. Download the APP and make sure it is level, and you are off and going. Connect to your phone or tablet and the universe is at your fingertips. Seestar makes astrophotography fun and easy. It really helps step you through the basics of imaging.
    What made this purchase even better was that the manufacturer now has their own Amazon store. It is nice to know that it is covered by the manufacturer if anything goes wrong, and they are the seller. It is the peace of mind knowing that I will not have any issues should a problem arise.
