    I have annoying spiders in my backyard. It’s impossible the clean the webs because it sticks to whatever you use. So….nothing like a powerful torch to dissolve the webs and bbq the spiders. Of course , I also use it to light up my bbq coal . Works well too

    This torch is outstanding when it lights. You can light lump charcoal and be cooking very quickly. I have tried different fire starters and this beats them all, hands down. However, there are times when the igniter does not ignite the propane and then you are left with using a lighter to light the torch...so counter-productive and extremely frustrating. I would give it 5 stars if the igniter worked properly all of the time. I have learned that holding the torch in an upward angle when igniting provides the most effective result but this still should not be something you have to deal with.

    This thing is great for starting a fire in the wood stove, it only takes about 1 minute with no kindling and the fire is burning good

    This torch delivers on everything it promises. The packaging it came in was simple and protective which I appreciated. Turning it on and off is simple and pretty foolproof. It took a few tries to light it properly (you have to barely turn the gas on to get it to work) but once I figured that out, it lit quickly and easily every time. The grip/handle is comfortable and the nozzle is wide to cover a good area of a steak or veggies in a single pass. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase and I can't wait to try it on all kinds of foods. If you had a charcoal grill, I would totally get it just to start the coals. Forget lighter fluid or chimney starters, once you've tried this, there's no going back!

    I purchased this to light smoker pellets in smoker tubes to cold smoke cheeses and to use those tubes for additional smoke while smoking meats...I have also used it to search steaks...simple to operate, does the job required, I am pleased...

    If you want to start campfires or fireplace fires without having to use kindling, this works great. I bought two, one for in the house and one for outside. They don't self ignite perfectly (one is better than the other), but they are WAY better at self igniting than a bernz-o-matic torch, and will almost always start without help (after a few tries) unless it's very cold outside. Once lit, they make an enormous amount of heat and I can typically get a fire burning on its own in less than 90 seconds, a little faster if the wood is super dry. I haven't tried it on green wood, never had the need. Would have given 5 stars if the self ignition was 100% reliable.
