    we got plain glass shelves in our bathroom that are a 10x better prism by accident than these things
    idk what theyre made from or if its the weird angles/cut... but it just doesnt really do whats its meant to do...

    I ordered this 4pcs Clear Triangular Prism set to use for photography.

    These prisms work, meaning that they split a beam of white light into all of its component colors. Unlike other inexpensive prisms, these are made of glass, meaning they will not scratch as easily as plastic prisms. They also produce nicer rainbows than typical plastic prisms.

    I do wish that these were larger. At only 2 inches, you need to hold these pretty far away from the surface you are photographing in order to get a nice large rainbow, and the further away you hold them, the fainter the rainbow. The prisms come in a nice storage box.

    These are nice, they come in a nice little box with a little cloth and have the nice factor. They are readily broken though and they don't put off much more of a rainbow in comparison to the class sets. Class sets are much more durable and a lot cheaper.
