    These function the same way as the tape that holds iPhone batteries in. They are very strong when installed and stay that way, even in wet environments. But if you want to remove it you just pull the tab down and the adhesive magically releases! No residue or material remains. Excellent choice if you live in an apartment and don’t want things anchored permanently.

    It is only the adhesive strips that mount to the brackets. I called Command and they helped me obtain the brackets.

    …Despite my basic opinion that they don’t quite live up to the hype. I frequently have to go through two or three tries before the installation stays on the wall for more than 10 minutes. The cost kind of adds up. They will fail if it gets too warm. But when they work, they work well, and I have lots of the hooks, so I keep on buying the strips. They’re particularly useful if, like me, you have a wall that’s painted concrete blocks, so you can’t drill or hammer a nail into it, but it’s not smooth enough for a suction cup (they never work well, anyway). They are definitely among the better of the adhesive from adhesive strip products.????????????

    I am using these to hang a heavy shower head off of a tile in my bathrooms.

    Here is the Shower Head Holder that I bought and am using with it uxcell® Bathroom Wall Mount 19mm Dia Handle Adjustable Aluminum Shower Head Holder

    It is as Solid and reliable as I was hoping it would be.

    It sticks like 3M and I know it will come off like 3M in 3 seconds without damaging the wall :-)

    I also have a 3M brand non-fog mirror in my shower which sticks to the wall with these exact same strips.

    I have moved three times and these make it easy to move them from one house to another without having to pay penalty fees to the landlord for damaging the shower tiles.

    I feel these are worth the few extra bucks as I do not have to deal with the mess of no-brand double sided sticker pads.

    This is the second time I buy this hook. The first one lasted in my shower for eight years. I use this to hang the shower caddy inside the shower - steam and water did not affect it. I took it down to regrout. All my pictures are hung up with 3M hooks, too.
