    Most of the batteries I've collected have XT60 connectors on them. I've used (and made) various adapters in my collections of cars and planes, as well as chopping and replacing any poorly-designed connectors (eg. Dean's). My primary use for this adapter is on a rock crawler with low impact.

    These are solid, not just two connectors soldered together with a short piece of wire and some heat shrink. I have applied a bit of pressure to them, and they don't flex. Both EC3 and XT60 connections seem secure, and I haven't (yet) noticed the adapter getting hot. The size of the adapter is acceptable, and it fit cleanly under my crawler's body shell.

    When the adapter is connected to the battery plug it appears that its not joining all the way together, but after plugging and unplugging a few times it seems to be fine, just have a little patience and as time goes on they probably will be fine, just no need to try and force them. Only gave them 4 stars because they seem to be a little pricey, however that may be the price you pay for peace of mind after all you do not want to be taking a chance with Lipo's

    Continuing my quest: I have a car jumper, and all of my vehicles have SAE ports (I installed during COVID to keep them attached to trickle chargers, so the batteries didn't die). I want to be able to plug the jumber box into the cars without raising the hood. I've been looking for the adapter that will let me plug an SAE cable into the jumper (I realize this one has SAE on neither side - it's just one part of the potential solution). Unfortunately for me, this is yet another failure - I didn't read the product description closely - this is XT60 female - not male. Having said that - it is of excellent quality, so much so that I tossed the pair into my emergency kit, rather than return them - you never know. Very solid construction, with the black plastic sort of "overmolded" around the two connectors - might as well be one piece of plastic - no opportunity to fall apart, or for liquids to get in there and cause issues.

    Am disappointed in purchasing these XT60 (Female)-to EC3 (Male) adapters,...in that the force needed (to mate the EC3 half with a "top-name brand" battery was far too excessive! And the fix required me to apply hand lotion with a Q-Tip and toothpick to the inside of its EC3 male pins, plus pressing down with a hefty common blade screwdriver. And am making a "wild guess", that the thin walls of the EC3 half got shrunk down in the process of applying the molded injection, junction protector.
    And because their installation force were identically the hardest ever encountered on an EC3 battery, I will not be purchasing any more of these molded-injection adapters.

    Adapters such as these come in handy when connecting lipo batteries to planes or chargers. These are well made, connect smoothly and work well. I especially like the molded grip as it makes it easier to connect/disconnect than the traditional shrink tubing used with many of these adapters.
