My first review was a one star because the bag lost its seal quite quickly. I started the return process but after packing the bags for return and thinking about it for a few days, I decided to give them a second chance fearing I may have not given them a fair chance the first try. I unpacked and retried the same bag that had failed me the first time. The only thing I can figure out is that using the little black sealer thingy I left a wee little opening, so I tried the bag again yesterday afternoon and paid closer attention to the sealing process; it's been 24 hours now and the bag is still holding its seal. I suspect that other poor reviews may have had the same problem I had, i.e., not paying close enough attention to the sealing process.
I still maintain there should be cataloging of the bags in the box so one doesn't have to pull out any number of bags to find the right size. However, this isn't enough reason to drop a star.
I would recommend this product but caution the user to pay close attention to the sealing process.

The first thing I found upon opening the box was that there was no system that I could identify to tell which bag was which. I had all but three bags out before I found the 'large' one which I needed. It wold be very helpful to have a key or map on the outside to indicate which size bag is located where or have the bag size apparent on the bag when the box is opened rather than having to pull out any number of bags to find the needed one. The bags are labled as to size, but one has to pull out the bag to see this.
The first bag we tried vacuumed nicely but within a few minutes started to reinflate. I checked the seal and found I hadn't sealed it properly, so I resealed it using one of the little black thingys. Again the vacuum device worked perfectly (really a nifty littly vacuum machine). This time the bag took much longer to reinflate, but reinflate it did. I decided at that point I just didn't have the time to start trying other bags looking for one that wouldn't lose its vacuum. What are the odds that the first of 24 was, coincidentally, the only one that wouldn't hold a vacuum?
Incidentally, I was surprised that Amazon is now charging to have merchandise returned via UPS - a buck if one has the original package, $6 something without the packaging.
