I bought this to make a seed catcher for below my bird feeders. I needed something that water could get through, but seeds would stay. Works well for that purpose.
I was tired of picking so many seedlings out of my rocks below my feeders. Haven't had time to build it yet, but it will be similar to this idea in the photo.
