    The manufacturer must have high Quality Control inspection standards because each of these 12 drill bits was flawless. Each drill bit was perfectly sharpened and produced two identical spirals when drilling. Because these drill bits are perfect, I suppose a machine produces them however, the workers can be rightfully proud of their superior craftsmanship in setting up those machines, keeping the machines accurate, and choosing the correct metal alloy.

    When tapping 1/4x20 threads in steel or aluminum a #7 drill is needed. If doing this a lot, a few extra bits are good to have on hand. This set is well made and perfect for my use.

    #29 High Speed Steel Black & Gold job pack. Broke the first bit but second one finished the job. They don't seem to stay long but are worth it in price. would recommend.

    I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

    I had a knife I've been trying to put 2 holes in a knife blank for months and have yet to find something that works... including these unfortunately. I used a punch and marked it, used coolant and everything but nothing worked. They drill through wood fine, but did not work for what I needed. I also snapped one despite being careful, but thats not unexpected as they are pretty small.

    I use a lot of 3/16" bits drilling holes for rivits on my stock car. And honestly, these are probably the best I've used and I've been doing this for a very long time. They cut super quick without binding up and breaking as most do. I do use tap-magic oil and they start sharp and stay sharp. Probably have drilled 50 to 60 holes thru .095" tubing, sheet metal and 3/16" plate and still on the first bit. Will definitely get more of different sizes as needed. Very good product.
