    Wanted some shrink tube that was colored and heat activated glue. Worked very well for what i needed to do. Has a really good shrink rate and sturdy glue. It's nice having more than one color option. Will buy again

    I was pleasantly surprised by the wall thickness of these heat shrink tube pieces. They have a very good shrink ratio that allows for a well conformed finished result around the wire splice or crimped connection.

    I bought these to heat shrink them around various 1/8” steel rods that I use to make custom holders for my tools around my workbench. I don’t want metal on metal when it comes to hanging/storing my tools. So I cut a few in half and shrunk them around the steel rods to add cushion and protection for my tools. The adhesive is strong and luckily when it cools it’s no longer sticky which I was afraid it would be. The more the tube is allowed to shrink, the thicker the result is and I wanted a nice thick buffer between my tools and the steel holders. I thought it would leave a sticky residue but rest assured it does not! Great amount and variety of sizes for the price!

    This is high quality heat shrink with a good 3:1 shrink ratio and integrated adhesive. I have a heat gun where I can set the termperature so it would be nice if the maker provided the temperature range that should be used with this tubing, but alas I couldn’t find the recommended temperature range anywhere in the provided listing or documentation.

    Works exactly as it should and a little adhesive oozes out the end when fully shrunken, giving you confidence that the weatherproof seal has been achieved.

    The plastic container is better than most but still flimsy as is typical for these sorts of things but the case in no way affects how well the actual heat shrink tubing works.

    Tip - get a butane torch for shrinking tubing instead of using a lighter and your heat shrink will have less discoloration and charring.
