    I am a woodturner. I have several sanders that use 2" hook and loop discs. I have these in grits from 80 through 1000 in shop-made bins right at the lathe for easy use. If a size starts to get low, I order another pack. Even though these are inexpensive, they do a pretty good job - and I am often able to clean and reuse a disc multiple times.

    The only issue I do have relates to reuse - and it is something easily overcome and hardly qualifies as an issue. Due to the way these are produced, the size winds up not being printed on the back of each disc (or enough of the size to tell what it is). Simple to overcome - I keep a permanent marker by the lathe anyway, quick and easy to mark the back with the grit. Like I said - very minor, not even close to being a reason to pass these over.
