Wonderful filament

This is a beautiful color of filament when it is glowing. When it isn't, it is just akind of off-white color. The 3d printer worked well with this filament and didn't have any problems. It is good filament and again the glowing blue color is beautiful.

No Hassle Prints

I've struggled with some metallics, but this one prints great every time. A little bit stringier than plain colors but nothing like some other silk PLA I've used. The color comes out with a hint of pink and a bit of bronze--at least to my eyes. It's been a very popular color for the females in my family. (I only print for fun for extended family.)

Bumps on Filament - Clogs all the time!

I got this filament for the quick color change. I should have read that this filament does not want to print at all! It will print just fine then all of a sudden it will stop or under extrude out of the blue!! After my fourth benchy, I took a closer look at the filament. It turns out that there are these bumps that will stop-up your extruder/tube! There is clearly something wrong in the manufacturing process. If they can hammer it out, this filament's color and shine is fantastic. Until then, avoid it.

This filament prints without trouble. I needed a brim but that's not atypical for the model I'm printing, and adhesion and layer adhesion were otherwise fine. The finish isn't as shiny/metallic as some silk filament, but it's not bad. However, the color is not very coppery, not like the product picture. It's sort of a dark burnt orange color. It's also not completely consistent, as there are very slightly darker stripes on the finished model.

So the filament is consistent and prints cleanly but the color is not consistent throughout and is not a convincing copper. Not bad for the price, but there's better.

A wonderful filament that has a nice shiny appearance.
I print on a Prusa Mini+ and don't have jam problems since the filament diameter tolerances are consistent.
I print at 220 degrees since the higher temperatures cause stringing.
But with all PLA filament, the bed adhesion is a consideration, so be aware to use support for your print if it lifts off.
The only negative is that the filament is higher than average but it's the only filament other than Prusa Filament that I use. I am not a production house but just an individual experimenting with printing one offs and the extra dollar or two per spool is not an issue.

Nice darker rainbow colors

My favorite rainbow for a darker, almost metallic look. Fast color change...get all colors on prints around 100 grams. I've purchased over 25 spools in several colors and found it to be a consistent quality filament. It usually comes on cardboard spools, so I do have to use an adapter for my ams.

Beautiful filament but the new spool material shatters

My one-star rating is not with the filament, which is beautiful and has always performed very well for me. I last bought this filament in October 2023 (my most recent order was in June 2024), and since then, the hard-plastic material used for the spools seems to have changed and is much more fragile now. I just got this new roll of filament, and the spool has already shattered.

I load all of my rolls of filament the exact same way and have never had this issue with any of the other spools, including another spool of a different kind of plastic that's still sitting nearby, almost completely exhausted but still in one piece.

I would be happy to talk with an Amazon associate about whether this is a one-off issue that can be solved with a replacement, or whether it's a systemic issue that needs to be addressed at the manufacturing level.
