    This is an outstanding meter at a really reasonable price. It replaces a 40 year old meter that got a soaking in Hurricane Helene. It is accurate, easy to use, and has plenty of functions. It is compact in size and very light. The clamp is extremely helpful. It requires 2 AAA batteries for operation which are included. 2 probes and a nylon carrying case are also included. The meter is a very good value.

    I got this meter just for the capacitance feature and it works great. The very first thing it slipped out of my hand and hit the concrete but it survived intact without a scratch. My old multi meter just wasn't working correctly and I needed something that could check HVAC capacitors, and the price looked good on this one. It is surprisingly accurate and works like a champ. The clamp also opens nicely in the middle making it easier to go around a wire than the style that opens to the side. I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone needing a good multi meter.

    Very solid tool if you're just trying to do basic stuff. Accurate "enough" for everything unless you're making your own circuit boards or something else that requires very precise readings. It'll be off a little bit but logically you can assume if it's close to what you need it to be it probably is and it's working as intended IE a car battery. The no-contact reading is very short range I practically had to jam it into stuff to get a beep. The plastic feels cheap but it's molded fairly thick so it's pretty solid despite that. Has just enough heft to it where it instills some confidence in the user that it's not garbage. Dial's got a satisfying click, screen is nice and big and readable. Backlight is bright. I don't know what genius put the light behind the clamp but it's a feature... I guess. Could have offset it a few centimeters and have it light up inside and beyond the jaws very easily. Case it comes with is super cheap but holds everything in place so it does the job fine.

    This is a nice little package. For someone who has been used to using fluke etech and other name brand meters. This thing is nice. Does exactly what it says it can do. Easy as expected. The price really make you think. Is it really necessary to spend 10x this price anymore? No it's not.
    Okay good tools for our trade are a must. But sometimes we just fix odd ball bench stuff. It's a great tool.

    Feels solid in your hand, the built-in flashlight is a plus, is accurate enough for my daily uses. the digital readout is clear, and an audible peep alerts you when changing modes etc.- the ability to measure capacitance was a real plus- I have several other meters and an oscilloscope, but had no way to measure capacitance. Used the capacitance function to troubleshoot a ceiling fan - the Hunter fans depend on various values of capacitors to regulate speed and I hate buying and trying- got it going in this case the capacitors weren't bad, had an open connection, the meter made it easy to exclude the capacitors as being faulty. - The amp probe came in very handy in the first week- I have another amp probe meter and setting up two meters simultaneously on the incoming buss lines made it much easier to balance my generator circuits coming into the house during a recent power failure- you can always get sneaky parasitic loads from things like the refrigerator going into defrost mode, or an automatic pump coming on on a timer or switch, and if you are close on one breaker, it can trip you out, even if your total load is still OK. So for this price point, and other nice features- I give it five stars- Downside- be prepared to buy a nice lead set if you really want to get the most out of it- it has a very minimalist lead set with it.

    Very good tool for any DIY person, works pretty well for any regular projects around the house and vehicles, HVAC as well , clamp does work as intended. Overall great for the value.

    This is perfect for home use. I wouldn't use it for industrial or professional uses, but it's great for what it is. Features like capacitance and diode testing are usually found on higher models. Perfect for tasks like home load balancing.
