This telescope is perfect for kids! The clarity and detail it provides when viewing the moon and stars are impressive. The included smartphone adapter makes it fun and easy for kids to capture their own photos. The adjustable tripod is sturdy and just the right height for children. Got this for the kids as a fairly inexpensive first telescope. It does the job. Comes with everything you need, even a phone adapter to take pictures of what you're looking at. The lens seems to be of good quality, once you focus you get a good sharp image. The tripod is a bit wobbly, so the telescope can shake a little when you're looking at something very far away. You just need to use a solid surface for it and have patience and try not to touch it very much. The kids love it! Well be using it for looking at the moon (not spying on the neighbors lol). Would be nice if it had a small bag for everything, but given the price it's a good deal. I'll find a bag for it all to jmsyore it when not using it. Well packaged, no issued at all with the product from shipping. Super easy to put together.

Got it for my boyfriend as a gift and he loved it - it reminded him of a telescope he had as a kid! Very easy to set up. It can be a little hard to find a tall, steady surface for it, but it's very lightweight and easy to move around. On a clear night in downtown, we were able to see Jupiter - haven't had the right conditions to see the moon just yet, but that's next! Overall, makes for a really fun solo or partner activity. Wish there was a little more guidance for which lenses to use in which situations, since we are complete beginners!

My son is VERY into space and planets. I bought this telescope hoping it was going to be a good beginners telescope and it EXCEEDED my expectations. It was extremely easy to put together if you follow the book instructions. It came with everything you needed to assemble it. Also came with two space posters. I tried it both at night and durning the day. Works great for both but it’s even better at night. Looking through it at the moon was great, then I saw it came with a light block lense to see the moon clearer…. AND OMG, it was AMAZING! I could see the moon so clearly that I saw the actual craters on the moon. My son was so amazed, even my husband, who might I add isn’t a science person by any means let alone a space person. We were out there for hours just looking up at the moon. It has an attachment for your phone but I did not like it at all. The phone with the case was too heavy that it kept moving the lenses out of place. Took the phone out of the case to try it that way and it ended up falling on the gravel somehow. I didn’t try anymore after that. I only gave it 4 stars because of the phone issue and the fact that it delivered in the original box so if I was home to receive it, someone would’ve seen what it was and stolen it. Also the stand it comes with is very short so I had to keep re-propping it to get to our heights. Other than that it is an AMAZING first telescope. Hands down would buy again as a gift of some sorts.

This is such a fun thing for my kids! My 13 year old son loves it. He figured it out before I could of course and he said it was easy to assemble. It works good, even my 6 year old loved it. I like the size and appearance of it for easy storage. So far it’s been a fun thing to do on summer nights, great value.

It’s easy to assemble. It’s plastic, so it’s lightweight, but don’t drop it or knock it over. It doesn’t tilt up far enough to look above. But for kids, it’s a decent introduction to a real telescope.

This is a great purchase or gift for both beginners and audiophiles. I am a beginner and it took me 5 minutes to set up and the manual is easy to understand. The moon looks cool and I love watching the birds in the trees. It also comes with a telescope for portability. The telescope is lightweight so I can easily move it from my bedroom to the outdoors and back!
