This wire clipper is smaller than my cuticle cutter, but it’s really as strong as a regular size wire cutter. It works great. Perfect clipping the loose wires from my braces.

This was another "bought on other customers' word" purchase, and I'm happy to say my fellow reviewers here steered me right again!

I run two 3D printers as a tinkerer and hobbyist, so I handle 3D printer filament often. For a few reasons I won't elaborate on here, since I'll carry off on tangents, I do need to snip a piece of filament regularly.

I bought a set of Stanley pliers, and I've had to heavily sharpen the jaws of the diagonal cutters that were in the set to make them of much use, but I use those for electronic wire clipping.

I bought another set of pliers from Harbor Freight tools, and I got what I paid for..... The cutting edges were WAY out of alignment, to the point they're nearly unusable as cutters. But to my sudden surprise, I discovered they work really well for removing melted filament off my printer's nozzles!! So I didn't take them back to the store. But I wanted some SHARP cutters to cleanly cut, not crush, my 3D printer filaments.

Again, I bought these based on reviews, and these work fantastically for my purpose! These pliers are startlingly sharp! I've been using them constantly in the few weeks I've had them and have always been impressed.

While I haven't used these to cut any harder materials (like small bolts or screws) I do agree with other reviewers that doing so would wear these pliers out really quickly. The jaws on these pliers are literally sharpened like scissor blades, so they shear material like scissors do, rather than crush-shear materials like diagonal cutting pliers usually do.

If you're needing a good set of diagonal cutting pliers to cut hard material, these may not be for you. But if you need really sharp pliers to cut softer materials, these are worth checking out!

I like that these flush cutters are very sharp and durable enough to cut the wire that I want to cut. They make a very good cut for jewelry, that won't scratch the skin.

Size is just right. Sharp. Doesn't stay locked closed. That would be good. I made leather pouch to keep sharp.

So I bought these for my bmx bike builds I am currentky doing and need to cut the brake wires down. I cut 1 wire down and it was not a clean cut, it the wire tip frazzled. The next wire didnt want to cut through, tried a different angle and it did the same thing. Realized the product is made in China and the sharpness of the blade must have been damaged by 1 cut? Returning for a refund and disappointed in this product. Dont expect these heavy duty cutters to last
