Battery lasts a very long time. Resolution is kinda grainy but it gives you a general idea of what you're looking at anyway. Well worth the money to have sitting in your tool box

I ordered this on a whim on Prime Day before noticing people had one star reviews for blurry image issues. Once it arrived, I charged it and tried it out. Overall it seems surprising decent. The buttons were easy to figure out, except maybe having to hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn it on. And the image was decent enough - not blurry at all and there was also a B&W/color mode choice.

The reason I bought this to replace the one that uses my iPhone (which has a nice image, smaller probe cable, and allows taking images with the phone's camera) is because I read that some products out there that access your camera have apps that are actually spyware. For my particular app, I googled it and saw at least one reference to someone who suggested it was spyware. Me, being ever paranoid about such things, decided not to take any chances.

This will get used lightly to find that 'whatever' is behind the wall or other obstruction, and to track the health of the occasional bumblebee nest that might find its way into the garden. I also have looked under a shed to check on rat activiity. Battery longevity is a question mark but for occasional use, this appears to be adequate with no risks of infecting your phone or inadvertently giving your personal information to hackers.

Doesn't do everything the more expensive ones do, but it works very well at what it does...especially for the price. Good sized screen with solid clarity. If you just need to check inside an engine or reasonably simply into a wall or drain, this will more than do the job.

To start, I first bought a nidage endoscope to look in my walls and under furniture because we were invaded by animals (lol). I was annoyed I needed an app, a wire that connects from usb A (no one uses that anymore) , and a usb port for it to work with a screen. I immediately regretted it and then bought this one. Amazon delivered it the same day and I took it right out of the box, didn't read any instructions or charged it. It was fully charged and simple to use. I was already won over when compared to what i used before. The image quality is great, it has more parts for more options and the screen quality is much better than I expected. This was more affordable than the model I first bought and 100x better. Highly recommend.

For the price, this isn't a bad purchase and has it uses. I was able to successfully located PEX piping and fittings within a wall for a plumbing issue without totally destroying and ripping open tons of drywall (locate the approximate correct area to open up the wall). Hopefully I'll get more use out of it in situations like this to make the purchase worth it.

That said the camera really does not strike me as 1080p quality (it reminds me of a first generation cell phone camera in terms of quality/resolution/pixelation). The camera can zoom in, but it really just enlarges the image, no actually change the focal length which is of limited utility. The depth/length of useful vision of the camera is only a few feet, so don't expect to be able to visualize something 10 feet away very well.

The look of this one is nice and attractive to the eye, it does its job pretty well although the truth is that it does leave you with the feeling that maybe you should have invested a little more to buy one with better camera resolution and movement at the tip of the camera, which is a real lifesaver. But in general I can say that it accomplished its purpose and helped me solve the problem I had with my car.
