I still have my Dad's Craftsman tools (from the 1950's), and I can tell you that the steel on these are just as strong as the originals. Strong grip and clamping feel due to weight and type of steel. I am so disappointed in myself for not getting these earlier. Great buy.

This seems sturdy and well built. Thicker than I was expecting so if you need a thinner pair, this is not for you. That said, it’s a good addition to my room set. I would buy again.
