The 16 gauge wire is sturdy enough to hold, yet soft enough to manipulate and shape. There is a good amount on the spool. May need to be wiped down with a soft cloth before using. Good for most jewelry making projects that require 16 gauge. It is a bit sensitive to wire weaving, though, especially if heavy handed. For me, if I get too carried away while weaving, it bends. Still a pretty good buy.

This wire is soft, bright, coiled nicely, and is a great value for the price. I highly recommend this quality wire over many others Ive seen and used for weaving and electrical applications
