    It served our purpose which was to pack around a split A/C copper lines traveling through a plastic rectangular pipe. We didn't want Florida critters, rats, etc, making nests in our protective pipe. You also may consider stainless steel tie wraps depending on your application. You need to make sure the stuff stays put in some fashion.

    I'm not sure how confident I am that this is actually "wire" mesh. Seems a little flimsy and looks like I could chew through it LOL. But need it to put around a dishwasher plumbing hole that the persons who installed it left open. I began noticing movement in my peripheral vision and it was tiny rodents. They were climbing up the drain pipe and getting under the cabinets and then chewing through the kick boards. Hoping this will work. I also bought some foam spray to prevent them from entering. So will use both.

    Nice "feel" to work with and as I'm plugging holes with it, don't much care after installing it. I'd get it again to plug holes.

    I've tried everything (almost) to keep the squirrels off my cherry tomatoes, but their climbing, jumping and chewing abilities have foiled everything I tried. But after 10+ years battling the buggers, I've learned one important thing: they don't like to/can't chew through metal.

    I had the leftovers of a roll of this metal mesh I used for a repair project, and since it's formed in a tube, I decided to put a 'sock' around the cherries. It worked better than expected. It cuts easily (watch out for bits of mesh) and I simply crimped the ends. This summer, I lost zero cherry tomatoes to squirrels. Success!

    Need to make sure to cut it in a bag or box. Otherwise the cut off wire will be all over the place. I wrapped my fruits with this product in layers. Squirrel broke the branches and took the fruit with them or removed it layer by layer and ate the fruits.

    Used on our floor vac registers to keep out the wee mice Fluffy the feline hunter keeps bringing in for us. Also lining the inside underneath the sectional floor openings to keep them away from there as well. Using this means we can humanely put them back outside without hurting them (we hope). Would buy again.
