This device lived up to it's spec's. I took the pictures attached of a Arduino UNO board in 10MegaPixal mode and 1080P, and they all turned out great. Turns out that they put in a slight delay in the time you push the take picture button to the time it actually takes the picture which really helped not getting a blurred picture due to slight movement. If you look closely you can see that I used x1, x2 and x4 in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th pictures.
The only two issues I had with it are that it comes up in Video mode when you turn on the Microscope instead of Picture mode. But this is very simple to fix by pushing the "D" button on the front. The other issue I had is that there is no detailed manual on how to go through the menu's and how to change modes. But it only took me a few minutes to figure it all out. Very simple to use. Kids could probably figure it out faster than I did!
Overall, I would give this digital scope a 10. Why? Because I am 62 years old, my eye sight isn't what it used to be, and I got this so I could easily work on surface mount soldering and it works great!
If I want a larger screen I can always view it on my monitor. A 4.3 inch display in HD is really nice looking.
One thing I did was to mount the Microscope base on an elevated piece of wood so my helping hands jig could slide under it while holding the board I am working on. This also helped to stabilize the camera a bit more than it was just sitting on my bench.

After reading the full product description further down the page, I understood why: the magnification is largely digital rather than true optical magnification. This means the advertised "1000x" is more of a digital zoom that enlarges the image on the screen without adding any real detail.
That said, this microscope is still a great tool for the price. It's perfect for looking at caterpillars, eggs, and other small insects. The 4.3-inch screen and adjustable LED lights make it easy to use, and it's portable with a built-in rechargeable battery. If you're interested in basic observation of small objects, it does the job well. Just keep in mind that if you're looking to explore deeper into microbiology, this microscope won't have the power you need.
Overall, it’s an excellent buy for the price, as long as you understand its limitations.
