My podiatrist provided a toe pad for me until his supplier couldn't deliver. So we created this work around. I created a template in the shaped I needed and used this product to cut out the pads I needed. They worked great. The adhesive back provided the stability to stay on my toe.

The media could not be loaded.
 The quality of the product seems to be as good as you could hope for, but depending on your intended use it may or may not work for you. Observations 1) the weave (?) of the material is solid as in it doesn't delaminate under use nor does it pill or powder/disintegrate. Observation 2) the adhesive is solid 100% which was a pleasant surprise. For example when I take the padding off of the bottom of my foot the fabric mesh comes off without the adhesive and then I need to lift up an edge with my thumbnail and then it removes fairly easily. Observation 3 the padding does move laterally. For example of you were to pinch it between your fingers and then move your finger and thumb in opposite directions while pinched the padding on the top will move one way and the padding on the bottom will move the other way. Observation 4) the 1/4" padding compresses by approximately 1/2 of the total volume or 1/8".

I bought this to make my own metatarsal pads because they are so expensive. I use 3/8" pads usually, but metatarsal pads are more dense and don't compress or move as much laterally. I was successful in making my own by cutting and layering two pads. After the compression it was close enough to actually work.

Wife uses a forearm walker. We needed better, more durable arm supports. I made two with my table saw and some thick vinyl decking. I used this cushioning material where her arms support her weight. Worked well and sticks like a limpet. I'll let you look that up. The material is tough to cut, you'll need a sharp blade.

Was concerned that this would flatten out too much over time but it's held up well as additional padding for my shoe inserts. If you're using this product for shoe padding, there is PLENTY of material to last you a long while. Happy with the sturdiness of this product.

Purchased as recommended by wound care doc. The stuff they use at the clinic has far superior adhesive backing but these got the job done.
