    I really enjoy this telescope, it is definitely for begginers like me, it is quite easy to use and made of descent quality, it sturdy and stable, it has good adjustability and descent picture quality, it is easy to mount and worth every penny.

    Assembly was easy. Clarity was a bit fuzzy. Tripod rather unstable.
    I bought this to capture photos of an eagles nest 1 mile away. The camera is impossible to attach! Tried 20x and a friend 15x. Impossible

    This is a decent telescope for beginners. My only gripe is how short the tripod is so I can only use this on my balcony where I have something to stand it on. I will probably get another tripod in the future. I really had to at around with it to get it to work but it’s works great. Easy to assemble also. I do wish it had a carry case too but again I can get that later.

    My grandsons were asking about the moon & stars, so I got this to help them see what they're asking about. With the zoom this has, and the focal length, they were able to get a better eye on what they wanted to see. They've spent several hours staring at the sky and excitedly telling me what they see. The features on the moon are quite visible with this, without breaking the budget. For the price-point this telescope comes in at, it's worth every penny!!

    I am absolutely blown away with thus telescope. Everything in this kit is high quality, from the tripod to the scope itself. I wasn't expecting this telescope to be high quality, I was expecting a cheap, mostly plastic telescope that my kids could play around with. I'd have gotten this for myself had I realized that this telescope was made with quality materials and includes everything a beginning night sky explorer could possibly need. The scope lense is clear and easy to adjust. My kids are absolutely delighted with this telescope and beg me to take them outside to look at the moon and stars every night. It folds up small enough to pack into a car and take it out camping, and has lense cloths and dust covers as well. Awesome set up! Would make a very thoughtful gift for any kid (and adults, too!)

    Honestly considering that this is meant for beginners I’m super impressed! Because it’s a beginner’s telescope I wasn’t expecting top of the line material but the plastic was actually quite nice; especially the scope itself. Had a quality heft to it. There’s so many attachments and different magnifications that it had me giddy with anticipation. It was packaged well and the unboxing went well. Now you ask why the 4 stars instead of 5. Here’s the two reasons. Unlike the rest the tripod is rickety at best fragile at worst. Makes you think that it’s absolutely going to fall at some point. Given that the telescope rests on this that’s a problem. Second the manual is atrocious. It doesn’t give you a detailed explanation on how to put it together. Given that this is billed as a beginner’s telescope you would think that would be important. It’s takes leg work to get this to a working point. Good news is that when it does it looks fantastic! I’m a beginner so there’s no frame of reference for what “fantastic” is but maybe that’s the point. It’s supposed to just spark the initial wonder and amazement. Mission accomplished!

    This is a very cold, cloudy, rainy night, so I could not take this nice looking telescope outside for a spin, but the first clear night I will and update. I was very impressed at this telescope and I think it is perfect for parents who want to instill STEM interest in their children, and also perfect for anyone of any age interested in star gazing or astronomy. While the telescope itself is obviously not going to let your see Pluto clearly, the accessories (including a well made, sturdy tripod) which include attachments necessary for fitting the telescope onto the tripod, a "dew" shield (excellent accessory for clarity of using the telescope), a focuser, a horizontal motion lock, and a diagonal mirror and eyepieces. There are dust caps on all the necessary parts and also a cleaning, anti-static cloths. All together, this is a very impressive set of accessories for this price point and basic telescope. This makes the entire product well designed and an excellent value. I will strongly recommend this, particularly for parents who want to get their children away from those time wasting video games and instead orient them to an appreciation of science. Recommended .
