I used these extension springs to replace the broken springs on my pliers and reusable spray bottle. The set comes with 100 springs in 25 different sizes, which means you'll have the correct size of replacement spring on hand when something breaks. When the spring on my reusable spray bottle broke, I was able to quickly locate the correct replacement spring from this set and replace it, restoring the bottle's functionality in no time. Similarly, when the spring on my pliers snapped, I had the perfect replacement on hand. The springs themselves appear well made and durable. I would recommend this set to anyone who needs an assortment of small extension springs to repair their tools, spray bottles, and more.

I got these Beesini extension springs for home robotics projects, and they are exactly what I expected. They do all appear to be stainless steel in the set I got, contrary to other reviews, but I didn’t much care anyways. The quality is totally unknown, even after playing with them a bit I have no idea of their durability, but I wasn’t expecting aircraft quality anyways. The individual packaging of each size is nice, and the assortment covers the size range I needed.

The springs are great. Each size is packed in a separate zip lock bag and labeled with size in both mm and inches. This is where I have a problem. The springs are made in China, which is a metric country. So the springs are made to metric standard dimensions. There is nothing wrong with that, everybody can understand metric sizes. And if you have to, divide the metric size by 25.4 and you get an imperial size in inches. By they decided to make an improvement and put both metric and imperial sizes on the labels. If only they could do their math correctly. For example a 0.6x5x20mm spring label also reads 0.024"x0.17"x0.79". The 5mm OD should read 0.197" instead of 0.17". There are probably other errors, I did not check all sizes. Just have to remember - use metric dimensions and ignore inches.
For this reason alone I take one star off.

I needed a spring to fix a toy, but since I didn't have the original, I didn't know what length, width, or tension I needed. This assortment allowed me to try many different sizes until I found just the right one. I couldn't imagine going to the store and buying each one I tried separately.
This is a fantastic collection and a great value in springs.

Each size of spring is organized in labeled resealable bags. It comes with 100 springs in 25 different sizes. Great to have on hand for fixing kids' toys or providing some resistance where needed. These have full circle ends for attaching to hooks or screws.

These springs are sorted (in bags), individually bagged and labeled in metric and inches. The case won't be much use to me. Cannot verify they are stainless steel. Most look galvanized, one size looked stainless.

Each spring is as shown in the listing. the loops are nearly parallel on both ends and the loop ends overlap for secure attachment. The springs are smooth as stated.

Lengths listed are the total length of the springs from outside loop to outside loop. A random check of several springs shows the length are pretty accurate. same with spring width and wire diameter.

A random test of about 10 different sizes shows that the springs will stretch to at least double their length without losing their stretch. I did not test them past that.

Not bad for less than a Hamilton.

I recently needed a spring to keep the lid on our bird feeder from popping open in the breeze. And I had to replace a broken clutch return spring in my 280ZX. Yeah, try to find an exact repayment for that! And I often need small springs for robotics.

While I had accumulated some random sizes left over from prior purchases, I ordered this to fill in the gaps. It is a great assortment of small springs with varying tension. As others have said, each size comes in its own plastic package labeled with the dimensions. That may be important for some, but I judge by the tension and amount of expansion needed for the application.

The case closes tightly and needs a screwdriver to pop it open, but that prevents from opening accidentally. For those who often require smaller extension springs, this comprehensive assortment should fill most needs.

They are not Stainless Steel, even though the packaging specifically states that they are. If you need SS, then this is not the product for you. Look for a product that tells you the grade of SS that they are using instead of mystery metal.

Just looking at them tells you that there are at least two different metals they are made from. One of which may be SS, but it is the only one in the whole lot that looks like that. The rest look like the standard steel springs to me.
