I bought this to display a dragonfly that perished right in my driveway (they are my talisman and I took it as a good omen). Needed something to put the little guy in and this was it. The box is not a really nice wood. It’s unfinished, scratchy, the top isn’t glass it’s a cheap acrylic that came scratched a bit. Overall not amazing quality but since I’m no entomologist, it’s working for my needs.

Nice boxes, but one of them came scratched on the plexiglass. Comes with foam and pins.

If I could I would give this product negative stars. It was not very expensive and so I should have realized that the quality could be questionable. It was not packaged well at all, and when we received it the top frame was broken and in pieces. We didn't have time to return it because we needed it for my grandson's 4-H project. My son had to repair the hinges and glue the top frame completely back together. I can't believe the glass made it intact. The pins that came with it were almost useless. I would totally not recommend anyone purchasing this product. The shipper needs to ship in a more sturdy carton.

I was able to pull something together, but I ended up ruining my lunar moth in the process. The needles are very bendy and too long. You have to like them very far into the foam to be able to close the box. The black frame looks nice but it just isn’t for someone who doesn’t have very much experience. I had to use pliers to cut off the end of them so the needles would fit. Lots of extra steps
