This was a cute, short read. I enjoyed it well enough, but it was kind of forgettable once I finished it. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

4.0 out of 5 stars Jared, Lela, and Legion

Grumpy coffee shop owner Jared (H) is having a frustrating morning and quickly shuts down sunshiny regular Lela (h) who seems to enjoy chatting with Jared despite his cold demeanor. He dismisses her, not realizing that she's interested in him. Hurt, Lela buys her own coffee machine for her office, avoiding Jared's shop altogether. Jared starts to miss Lela's presence and when she doesn't return to his shop, he becomes increasingly frustrated, especially since he'd taken her special suggestions into account. Jared realizes he's going to have to work at it to convince Lela to give him another chance and a storm leading to a lost kitten is the perfect chance for Jared to make a grand gesture - loved his wolf's take on Legion. Sweet and spicy age gap grumpy-sunshine wolf shifter romantic quickie with a side of angst.

2.0 out of 5 stars Somewhat Disappointed

I heard good things about this book so I bought it, but was ultimately disappointed by upon receiving and reading it.
First off, there are several misspelled words or doubles of words, or even doubles of sentences.
Secondly, the opening sentence before the book starts says "To all the good girls who want a grumpy shifter that remembers your coffee order and kneels to eat your p*ssy like you're his full moon dessert..." But that doesn't happen until the very end of the book, not only that but we don't even get to read that scene cause it cuts off just as she's bending over. Kinda disappointing.
Lastly, the size of the book. It felt kind of rushed to me and honestly felt unsatisfying to read, if there was more little details or interactions or if some scenes were drawn out the book could have been better.
Honestly it has potential to be really good, it certainly has good plot. But I wished it was built on more, when I got the book I was expecting at least 70 pages but it barely has 34. This book could have been extended by another 30 or so page with more details or longer scenes.

This was such a good book, I like that the paranormal aspect wasn’t overwhelming. Like it was definitely there, but it wasn’t the main focus. The power of coffee, toppings and feelings????????

2.0 out of 5 stars Very short story

Very neutral. It’s not awful, it’s not great. It’s very short though, even as a short story. I wouldn’t recommend it but I’m not mad I paid for it. I’m glad it was on sale though.
