Every single one of these books so far has me bawling from all the cute and sappy moments. I can't out them down. Each of the books seems to follow a different hockey player introduced in the first book. I love that they all make sense and it's not just a different story each time. They all maintain the same people included each time which ties them together

About this item
INSTANT #1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER
The latest in the TikTok sensation and deliciously “swoonworthy” (Elena Armas, New York Times bestselling author) Maple Hills series follows two summer camp counselors who reconnect after a sizzling one-night stand.
Maple Hills students Russ Callaghan and Aurora Roberts cross paths at a party celebrating the end of the academic year, where a drinking game results in them having a passionate one-night stand. Never one to overstay her welcome (or expect much from a man), Aurora slips away before Russ even has the chance to ask for her full name.
Imagine their surprise when they bump into each other on the first day of the summer camp where they are both counselors, hoping to escape their complicated home lives by spending the summer working. Russ hopes if he gets far enough away from Maple Hills, he can avoid dealing with the repercussions of his father’s gambling addiction, while Aurora is tired of craving attention from everyone around her, and wants to go back to the last place she truly felt at home.
Russ knows breaking the camp’s strict “no staff fraternizing” rule will have him heading back to Maple Hills before the summer is over, but unfortunately for him, Aurora has never been very good at caring about the rules. Will the two learn to peacefully coexist? Or did their one night together start a fire they can’t put out?

Healing, Heartbreak, and Heat: Why Wildfire Will Melt Your Heart!
Reviewed in the United States on September 29, 2024
So Wildfire by Hannah Grace—where do I even begin? ???? I was beyond excited to dive into this one because Icebreaker (aka my 5-star baby) really hit me right in the feels. Wildfire? Solid 4 stars for me, and here's why!
Icebreaker was one of those reads where I was like, "Wow, this is basically me on paper." The connection? ????. But Wildfire... I couldn’t quite fully relate to everything going down, which is why it’s not a five-star read. BUT that doesn’t mean it didn’t pull me in! Even though I haven’t personally lived through some of the experiences in this book, I still found myself empathizing with the characters like they were my own friends. And honestly, the way Hannah handled these heavier topics? Chef’s kiss. ???????? Plus, she didn’t skimp on the romance! A mix of deep plot and spice? YES, please! ????️
Let's talk about Russ (my heart ????). This guy has been through it with a father who struggles with a gambling addiction, and while I can’t imagine that life, I could totally feel his pain. He coped by cleaning all the time (seriously, my man is a pro cleaner ????), just trying to avoid his dad’s bad energy. And, ugh, that hit hard because I could relate to how we sometimes condition ourselves to avoid pain. I grew up in a traditional Hispanic household where discipline was strict (hello, survival mode), so seeing Russ fight for his own space and eventually stand up for himself? Major props to him! ????????
Now, Aurora’s story? Equally heart-wrenching. She spent so much of her life fighting for her dad’s attention, only to see him giving all his love to his new family. ???? Watching her go through that “what’s wrong with me?” spiral was tough, but so real. And when she finally realizes, “Nope, this was never about me, it was all him,” I was cheering her on! ???????? Oh, and the tension with her mom, who tried to overcompensate but ended up being overbearing? ???? So relatable!
I have to give a shout-out to how Hannah weaves in all this emotional messiness while keeping the romance front and center. The spice? ????️????️????️. And while I didn’t relate to everything in Wildfire the way I did with Icebreaker, I still devoured it in a day. And honestly, I’m so glad I did. This book really highlights how complicated, messy, and beautiful life can be, and I’m here for all of it. ????
Overall: 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, the spice is fire, and I can’t wait to see what Hannah serves up next!

Camp love turned into forever.

It was very sweet, very timid, very nice. It was missing the passion from the first book. This was not a hockey romance at all as he never played hockey once during the entire novel. This was a summer camp love turned into forever. The storyline felt rushed at times, it lacked the detail and excitement from the previous book. Also I wouldn’t have picked Russ as the follow-up to Icebreaker, I was expecting JJ’s storyline or even Henry but not Russ. He’s cute and all but not who I expected. The spice wasn’t even as spicy as I expected from what was written in the previous book. All I can say is not bad but it could’ve been better.

A slew of characters so very well developed! The characters grow and yet stay true to themselves at the same time!

I really wanted this to be 5 stars!!! I love a broken MMC, but something was missing so I’ll give the book 4.5 stars. Hannah Grace does an amazing job with the supporting characters and I loved the story line. Can’t wait to read the next book!

So much better than icebreaker
Reviewed in the United States on August 17, 2024
This was a lot better than the first book. It was a fun, cute, fluffy book. I liked Russ especially; we got to learn a lot more about him in this book. It was easier to believe Russ and Aurora’s relationship and root for them since there really wasn’t any spice in the first half of the book other than that initial hook up. And without the spice, it was a lot more focused on the plot which was actually a more consistent plot line. The mcs in this series also have very healthy relationships with pretty solid communication. Any time there’s miscommunication between the MCs it’s resolved fairly quickly and it’s resolved because they purposefully try to sort out the miscommunication and resolve their conflicts like you would in a healthy relationship. This had all the good parts from icebreaker—an adorable man, found family (though less)—plus better writing and plot so I’d pick it up regardless of if you liked icebreaker honestly.

I enjoyed this summer camp style book, it was different then what I’m used too. I did lose some interest for a little bit and needed a break, it was a little too slow for my liking but I still really enjoyed Hannah Grace’s work! Also very much enjoyed that the golden retrievers were the main characters honestly ????????
