Viper and Clem meet at a bar and are attracted to each other but she's married, and drunk. They part ways and don't run into each other again for 10 years. They were so sweet and swoony together, I just wish they hadn't had to wait so long to be together!

This was a short story, but well-written, and developed enough to bring out the chemistry between the characters. It was also the first in the series for me, and after this I had to go read the other books and enjoyed them too. And I will definitely be checking out some of the author's other books too!.

Clementine has been divorced from her psycho, stalking, cheating ex husband Craig, when she is reunited with Viper "Abe" after meeting ten years earlier. Neither one could forget about the other.
OTT HEA! Went too far in a few aspects of the story. Complex characters, great story line.

Their connection is immediate and electric, but Clementine, married at the time, and Abe resist pursuing anything further, and both are left wondering what might have been. Ten years later, Clementine’s life has dramatically changed after divorcing her cheating husband, who can't seem to let her go, and opening a veterinary practice in Rugged Mountain. She unexpectedly reconnects with Abe in a coffee shop, where they instantly recognize each other and they both still feel their connection, and this time, neither is willing to walk away, with things quickly heating up between the two. But with Clementine’s ex refusing to let go, Viper must step in to protect the woman he’s never stopped thinking about. Oh my HEART???? I loved it! Abe and Clem have such a strong chemistry between them I was swooning hardcore ???????? My heart hurt that they lost 10 years and were pining for each other the whole time. Also for what Clem’s husband had put her through ????
Finally reunited and the sparks flew!! Seriously the chemistry between them is so intense and it made the smexy times SINFULLY HOT???? I love this series & Rugged Mountain so much!!! Can’t wait for what’s next!!!! Highly highly recommend this wonderful book!!!.

I enjoyed this short story of Viper who met a drunk woman at the bar and took her home. Ten years go by, and they meet up again. The characters are well written, and the sexy scenes are fun to read.

This was one of my favorites from the series! I loved the chemistry between Viper and Clementine (btw- how cute is that name!), and even after 10, and only having spent 1 hour together, these two still thought about each other constantly. It sucked what her ex husband did, but it was the best thing ever seeing her get her HEA with Viper!
This was a short, age romance, with a romantic second chance HEA!
