    Overall a great book. Caught my attention from the beginning and kept me reading. Compelling characters, interesting storyline, good writing…only near the end did I start struggling with it. Like the author started going a little too daytime soap dramatic. The actions and behavior of some of the characters were getting frustrating and hard to believe. I mean, who in their right mind thinks they are just going to sneak out and somehow no one, including numerous enemies, wouldn’t be able to find them? And does she really think her leaving is going to help anything? Makes no sense.

    It’s sad it has funny lines in it by Natalia,it’s happy and now I am worried here at the end of this book because the author has me so involved. My heart is breaking because of all the characters you come to know are hurting here. This story is so good and has it all. I love the way this author tells the story. Things in life don’t just turn around so fast and so they don’t in this book. I have to get to the next book because I am dieing to know. You must read this book and you will not regret it, you will be hooked on this author

    A very good Bratva story. There is plenty of action, twists and turns as well as the
    "unexpected" love story between the pakhan and the inexperienced young woman. This story is not concluded in this book and there are many open issues to be resolved in the following one.

    So, the ending really demonstrates how stupid and out of touch the FMC is. After everything that’s happened, and her character growth, she’s right back to making dumb and honestly selfish decisions that make no sense. She just doesn’t think through her actions and it really makes it hard to enjoy the book. The pros are the rest of the characters are interesting and the storyline works. I’m not sure I’ll bother with the second one now and that’s a bummer because everything else is pretty good.

    Very intense story from the start and liked the back and forth between the characters but I don’t like the cliff hanger especially since I didn’t realize it had a cliff hanger before I read it. I won’t read the next one.

    Ms. Fox story grabbed me and didn't let go. I loved the heated exchange between Natalia and Andrey. From the meeting in the elevator to seeing her apartment. I laughed and wanted to hit both of them with my bare hands. The sub plots with their friends was good too. This novel had everything I look for in a good read. The drama, the characters and the conclusion. I loved this story and would recommend it to my friends. Now I am off to read the conclusion to this love story. I love the fact that he is trying to fight his feelings for Natalia and she is trying to decide if she wants to raise their children in his world. Let me get to the conclusion of this fast pasted love story. Thank you for an escape that makes we wonder if there is a happily ever after for all of us.
