What happens when you mix an accidental pageant queen with the broody bodyguard hired to protect her on a months long tour across the country? A lot of swoon, a lot of spice, plenty of laughs, and what might have just become one of my favorite reads all year.

Passenger Princess is perfect for anyone looking to pick up a relatively quick, funny, lighthearted read full of shenanigans, stray kittens, sassy boss b*tch women, and the men who worship at their dainty feet.

This was my first time reading Morgan Elizabeth and throughout the entire book I found myself questioning why? Between the banter between characters (incredibly entertaining), the development of Ava and Jaime together and individually (a treat), and the hijinks they got up to on her Miss Americana tour this book had everything I usually look for when picking my next read.

I absolutely ADORED Ava. She's impulsive, mouthy, over the top in the best of ways and yet incredibly kind, compassionate, and down to Earth. She's the kind of character you instantly wish would walk off the page and become your best friend.

As for Jaime, the MMC... whew. There's just something about a grumpy, broody, mountain of a man who just melts for his woman that does it for me. There's a lot I could say about Jaime that just does it for me, but to avoid any spoilers all I'll say is... he's a man who understands Ava's smutty books are his friend, not his enemy ????

All in all I thoroughly enjoyed myself while reading this, it's exactly the palate cleanser I didn't know I needed, and will absolutely be going through Morgan Elizabeth's backlist moving forward.

I had such a big smile on my face reading this! Ugh Ava And Jamie were totally opposite but perfect for each other, Jamie is the PERFECT book boyfriend! ???????? He is a grump, but so lovable. Ava is such a girl girly with the best personality. I love her.

Are pageant Queen is bad ass. She decided to sign up for the pageant to help promote her friends business and won. Not only she is an amazing friend, but she so caring towards other people. When she decides to help female owners across the state for her pageant campaign, they assigned her a bodyguard. She would have never thought that the grumpy security man she met at the club would be the same man who will be spending this journey with her. She teased him from the start. HE was so grumpy tho!! But you could feel that he was melting his grumpiness for her. Their banter was the best!! The things he did for her, like this man took the definition of the perfect man. He knew she was a passenger princess, so every time the moved places he would set up the seat for her, With a book !! Like ughhhh he was a dream. Plus he went out of his way to do so many things for her. He was so good. He took his job seriously, well he was trying too, but who could have resisted her for so long? She was so sweet and bubbly. She might have driven him crazy, but he fell over hills for her.

The plot was great! The characters, the romance, the suspense. This book had everything. And the fricking spicy scenes!! damn he made her read her book out loud yalll!!!! mann it was ????????
I loved it!! So go pick up this book, because I highly recommend! ????????????

A great antidote to a stressful week!

In case you are new to her work, I consider Morgan Elizabeth to be a modern spicy rom-com queen. Her Seasons of Revenge series is not to be missed, and her more emotional turn in All My Love just blew me away. While we all eagerly await the next book in the Atlas Oaks series, this lighthearted raunchy romp through the pageant world gives us a little peak at the crew we met in All My Love since Jamie (our hunky bodyguard MMC) is their head of security. While the band records a new album, Jamie is temporarily reassigned to guard the winner of the Miss Americana (Swiftie Squee!) pageant on her three month nationwide tour. Ava Bordeaux isn't the same old pageant queen. Her refreshing take on the entire endeavor won her the hearts of viewers across the country, and the majority of the audience vote to take the crown. When these two get together, it's like fire and gasoline.
I adored all the callouts to us bookish girls who are fans of romance novels and all their subgenres. Jamie researching the types of books Ava likes and getting her a new one every now and then along the road is such a love language! And the first date at the female owned romance bookstore? SWOON! And the note he leaves in one with her annotating supplies... so hot. Jamie is a serious man with a serious job, but Ava can see through his walls to the real him peeking out with his diamond stud earrings and marshmallow center. This book was the perfect antidote to a rough week at work for me. It's smexy, smart, funny, and empowering.

Morgan Elizabeth never disappoints.

This book was soooo good!!!! It had me giggling and kicking my feet so much. Jaime is my new favorite book boyfriend and the banter between him and Ava is gold. He’s so protective and serious and reminds me of the saying looks like they could kill you but is a cinnamon roll. Although he’d kill for Ava behind closed doors he’s so sweet and caring and notices the little things about her. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this book, I loved it so much. ????
