Intriguing enough to finish

Writing is very clunky. Felt like 4th grade reading levels to me. I was interested enough to finish the story, but everything is anticlimactic (purposely, I’m sure), that I don’t have any interest in reading the rest of the series. If you like elaborately set worlds and extensive story building, this isn’t the series for you.

The plot didn’t go as I expected, kept me on my toes, and I enjoyed every bit of it. Can’t wait to pick up the sequel ❤️
