I can't stop smiling!!! I feel so giddy over how much I loved this book. Amazingly addictive and FULL OF FEELS!! I am in utter bliss right now. I practically inhaled this book in one sitting, and it owned me completely.

I am so blown away with this story and am so in love with Nash and Emerson. I can't say enough good things. I just loved the dynamic between these two, the way their attraction and friendship bloomed. Their story brought so many feelings in to it. I found myself laughing, swooning, and tearing up. I’ve been so excited for Nash’s story since the beginning, purely because he’s such a wonderful single dad. First and foremost, I loved how he adored his son. He tried his best and did what he could for him. Laura nailed his authenticity in tenfold and hit me right in the feels. And it goes without saying that Cutler aka Beefcake has been the beating heart of this entire series, and he stole my heart as well. That little boy and his infectious happiness is everything adorable. And despite his love for his “girls”, the relationship and the love between him and Emerson was beautiful, sweet and funny.

Sweet, steamy and full of feels, this is small town romance at its finest. And just an all round beautiful story. It was an epic reading escape that made my sappy romantic heart so blissfully happy. I LOVED IT! I swear, Laura Pavlov is one of the best small town romance writers I have ever read and I hope she never stops writing them.

Let’s be honest, as much as this was Nash finding the most perfect person for him in Emerson, Beefcake stole the book and my heart. He found his way there in Romeo’s book and as this little guy collected his uncle’s ladies as his, Emerson became his top lady. They have a connection that is special, and beyond her being his doctor. There is something special about Cutler, that grabs your heart and refuses to let go.

Nash has done a fantastic job at raising Cutler. They were the best of buds, and his brothers were always amazing with helping his out. They have a found family that is truly all about helping each other no matter what. Nash also doesn’t like change much and the last thing he needed while trying to figure out how to manage Beefcake’s new diagnosis was for the doctor he had to retire and be replaced with a beautiful, young doctor. What might have been temporary became so much more as Nash and Emerson found that they were perfect together. They compliment the other in a way no one else ever has, well maybe Emerson’s twin maybe. The thing you learn with these R.O.D guys is that when they fall, they fall hard and for life. I love each of these stories and we always get the most amazing ones from Laura.

I have been so anxious to read Nash's story, and this absolutely did not disappoint!

This was just the perfect recipe for these two characters. Nash is a single dad and dedicates all of his free time to his son, Beefcake (Cutler).
Emerson is Beefcake's new pediatrician and their new neighbor.

The relationship between Beefcake and Emerson was so sweet and fun and Nash is seriously just the perfect dad! You can feel the chemistry and tension between Nash and Emerson even though they try to fight it. I was smiling throughout this entire book (aside from a few tears - happy tears).

Every single book by Laura just keeps getting better and better. I love the found family in her books and the communication that you see between all of the characters in each book of the series. I even love when there are little kids in her books because she does it so well every single time.
Laura is an autoboy author for me and this book just cements that! I can't wait for the next one!

The best of the series to date! Nash, Beefcake, and Emerson are the perfect found family. Love the inclusion of Nash’s RoD guys and their gals, as well as characters from other books in the series. A must read!!

Beating Heart is a fantastic read. I loved this one so much. If you have read the Magnolia Falls series then you know who Nash and his adorable son Cutler aka Beefcake are. Beefcake has stolen my heart since book one and continues to do so with this one. Nash is an amazing single dad who is not a fan of surprises. Emerson is in need of a change while she heals. She is an amazing doctor. I love how Emerson is with Beefcake. This will melt your heart as walls begin to fall between Nash and Emerson. You will giggle all the way through. Such a fun read. Nash and Emerson have amazing chemistry and just fit so well together. This is my favorite read in the Magnolia Falls series so far. I cannot wait for more to come.
