One text message. A chilling warning. A husband’s deadly secret.

“Addictive, gripping and completely unpredictable…” ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

After losing everything in a fire that destroyed their home, Megan clings to the one thing she has left – her husband, Justin.

He’s been her rock through their tragedy, so when he suggests moving to his family’s old holiday home in the country, Megan doesn’t protest, even though its crooked chimneys and dark foreboding walls leave her feeling anxious and afraid.

She’s determined to make the most of it, but she’s barely settled in when she discovers an old mobile phone hidden in the loft and her world is turned upside down again.

A chilling text message carries a warning she can’t ignore.

Whatever you do, don’t trust your husband…

The Warning is an addictive psychological thriller packed with twists and unpredictable turns that will keep you guessing until the final page, from the No.1 bestselling author, AJ Wills.

I enjoyed this book but thought it got a little choppy in the last 25%. It started to not make much sense and moved too quickly.

I finished it and that was the best thing about it! Ridiculous protagonist. She was incredibly annoying. Her inner voice went on and on questioning everything. It was ridiculous. I have read The Secrets We Keep by this author and it wasn't half bad but this one was horrible. She was so unbelievable. The characters were all stereotypes with not an interesting one among them. I hate to leave bad reviews but this was really poorly done in my opinion. I can not recommend it.

I enjoyed this book so much. I will be looking for more books to read by this author. I was very pleased with the ending and how it turned out. I would definitely recommend this one. It’s one you will not want to put down once you start reading it.

The first half of the story was interesting enough to keep me reading. The female lead was a complete mess mentally from the start...the weakest person alive. But the whole story line fell apart about the half way mark. The same events kept happening over and over. ...and the poor woman had not one common sense thought. More editing would have found these mistakes.
