About this item

I’ve been secretly sketching the hot older man who owns this bar.

But he finds my drawings. And now he won't stop staring...

I don’t know what it is about this guy, but I find him so magnetic. Maybe it’s the calluses on his strong hands, or the muscles shifting under his shirt. Maybe it’s the silver at his temples, or the way he glowers at everyone except me.

Whatever it is, I’m hooked. Squirming and breathless on my bar stool. And I can’t help myself—I’ve sketched the silver fox dozens of times, biting my lip as my pencil swoops across the page.

I’ve been here every night. Watching.
Wanting. Now he’s seen those drawings, and my secret is out.

But the bar owner isn’t mad. Not even one bit.

I’d better get this crush under control, because he’s ready to model for real…

Pushed to the Peak is a sweet and steamy instalove novella, starring an artist with a crush and her gruff older muse.

This is a happy book with some humor, a cute heroine, and a grumpy mountain man. Love the age gap, love the characters, and can't wait for whatever Cassie Mint writes next.

I’ve said it before, I’m not an insta-love girl, but something about this series just captured my heart.
Definitely recommend.

Marigold is an artist that hangs out in Flint's bar and spends time drawing. He soon finds out he's one of her main themes to draw.

They shack up in his cabin but he takes things slow with her since he doesn't want to scare her away. Will Marigold and Flint reveal their true feelings?

I enjoyed this read. I did wish it was longer.

She certainly found her muse. I liked the story and our MCs. I especially loved the scene at the end. It was so tender.

4.0 out of 5 stars Sweet and Steamy Age-Gap Insta-Love Romance ❤️????❤️

This is the 4th book in the Huddling for Warmth series featuring Flint and Marigold's sweet and steamy age-gap, insta-love romance. Flint is a somber, quiet bar owner and Marigold is a young artist who is passing through town and decides to stay for awhile. Every night she goes to Flint's bar and she sketches for hours of whatever or whoever speaks to her. However most of her sketches are of Flint who Marigold feels compelled to draw and who she has a crush on and who unbeknownst to her is extremely attracted to her but he's worried that he's too old for her. Everything changes when Flint sees her drawings after Marigold leaves her sketchbook out and he's done holding back. You really need to read this sweet and steamy age-gap, insta-love romance to see what happens. I would recommend reading this cute story!.

I am a sucker for an older man romance and this does not disappoint. Flint is a bar owner in a small town and Marigold is an artist who was passing through town when she decided to stay and do a summer project of drawing different points of view in Flints bar for the whole summer. Except the summers over and she’s still there. Super crushing on Flint and unable to move on. She draws him most out of everyone without his knowledge until one day she runs to hide in the bathroom and he’s left alone with her sketchbook ???? the way he reacted to the drawings of him was so engaging! I read and reread that part because it was amazing. He’s incredibly clueless though when it comes to her feelings even after seeing the proof and Marigold has a hard time speaking up so there’s definitely some angst due to their miscommunication. This was the 4th book in the Huddling for Warmth series, it’s not necessary to read the other books but they are also pretty good and there’s recurring characters in the stories. I totally recommend you grab this one if you have read the other ones and saw Flint in book 3 as Jana’s boss.

A cute quick age gap read with sweet characters struggling with expressing their needs and wants.
Marigold secretly sits in the bar and draws it's owner Flint pictures repeatedly, in different positions and views. Meanwhile Flint is secretly wishing Marigold was his.
This leads to an uncomfortable offer to pose for her so that she can draw him without hiding the fact.
Sweet story and loveable characters ????
